This is very much a tossup to me. I'm not a Trevor Lawrence guy, but he's better than anything Nabers has in my opinion. I'm inclined to lean Thomas for that reason, but I do think Nabers is a slightly greater talent. I guess there is some chance Travis Hunter could threaten Thomas for the top job in Jacksonville, but even then, there is room for both in that offense to be a sort of Evans/Godwin duo.

I think it’s possible Hunter overtakes Thomas in the long run. For now though Hunter is still a bit raw and needs to be coached up on his route running. He should still function well as an electric Z to Thomas’ X. And if Hunter is as advertised then that’s going to make it harder for defenses to sell out on Thomas. I have the two LSU WRs as close but give me the guy with the better QB and offense.

Yes, this was a given. /thread

Feels like it should be closer. I saw somebody post about it on FB and had to scratch my head for a moment.

87 / 1,282 / 10 TD vs 109 / 1,204 / 7 TD

Both played 17 games and I think Brian Thomas outscored Malik Nabers in most formats. I think Brian Thomas can be a 12 to 16 Touchdown a season guy which should make up for whatever deficiency he has in receptions vs Nabers.

Both players have room to grow. Catches are nice but touchdowns are king. 👑

Saw your post after I posted and you hit on some of the same stuff I repeated.

But fwiw Nabers played 15 games due to suffering two concussions, which is absolutely not a non-issue to me especially with his workload, might have been a 200 target guy had he not suffered the concussions.

Thomas very easily for me.

More yards and TD's on 37 less targets, did not suffer two concussions.
The concussions matter for sure. At least Jacksonville had mildly competent QB play. But the giants improved there big time. Winston would be huge for Nabers although he’s not likely to start.

Involved in a trade between these two last year, getting Nabers and giving up a fair chunk more than BTJ. The latter may already have peaked, Nabers I think we've only scratched the surface
