**Browns at Steelers**(-6, 39) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I think the Steelers might be the most "not as good as their record" team in the league. They are 3 plays from being 0-4 right now, and even now, I'd pick the Ravens to win the division.

I the Steelers are gonna have a hard time moving the ball against the Browns. I don't envision much run success, and DK is the only good weapon they have, especially with Austin out, and he's hit/miss all the time. I do wonder if the Browns match up Ward 1-1 with him, or play more bracket coverage knowing that they can easily win the LoS rushing just 4. Broderick Jones and Troy Fuatanu are gonna get crushed by Myles Garrett, who feels like a 3-sack game waiting to happen. I think this a game where Rodgers immobility really shows.

I think this could be the official Quinshon Judkins blow up game. I think he gets both consistent chunks and big plays, and the Browns use PA off that to get some moderate passing success. Absolute desperation DFS or flex idea, I think Isaiah Bond hits a big play in this one.

I think the Browns go into Pittsburgh and pull out the win.

Tomlin's record coming off byes is nutty. Especially at home.

Tomlin's record against rookie QBs, particularly the first time he faces them, is nutty. Especially at home.

Broderick Jones cant anchor, and Myles Garrett is probably the best speed-to-power guy in the league, so he is going to get his *** kicked. Especially if they try going 1-on-1 there (hot take: they wont do that. Tomlin is prideful, not an idiot. I assume they're going to force Garrett to scale Mt. Washington while dragging Jones from his waist most of the game)

Steelers may not be as good as their record, buuuut I believe the Browns are on, like, QB#10 since Mayfield won that playoff game and their offense is...let's say "challenged." Whoever they run out there at LT is prolly going to have a pretty long day with Herbig/Highsmith due back. Cant chip Watt AND those guys.

Tomlin will make 2 or 3 decisions that will keep this game way closer than it probably should be, and Judkins probably has a good game, but Coach T has Chris Boswell and Cleveland has a guy named Smurf (or whatever) so Mikey pulls out the ugly one score win vs an inferior opponent where they cover, cuz that's what Mikey's teams do.

Boz puts them up w/1:05 left. Steelers D proceeds to let a rookie munchkin drive 40 yards in 3 plays and Poppa Smurf misses a FG to send it to OT as time expires.

Steeler 19
Cleveland 16

Appears to be a game the defenses will decide
You are what your record says you are
The records say The Home Team is better
so...

Steelers- 23

Keebler Elves- 16

Browns haven't won in Pittsburgh since 2004.
Steelers coming off a BYE with two weeks to rest and prep.
Browns coming off a losing long and weary international road trip out of the country.
Steelers have a veteran QB playing well and winning.
Browns, another QB switch to a rookie starting his second NFL game with a beat-up offensive line and no WR producing.
Tomlin is going to stack the box to stop Judkins and dare the rookie to beat him just as he always does with rookie QBs.
The Browns sorry offensive line can't protect.
The Steelers have multiple legit pass rushers.
Steelers leading the league in creating turnovers.
Shocked if this one is close, beyond thrilled if the rookie keeps composer and doesn't turn the ball over and it is close to the point the Browns defense doesn't give up and comes away with a W.

NFL scriptwriters decide a close AFC North will get better ratings, Browns defense scores a TD, and they do just enough to win, 20-17.

Gonna be a tough game for the Browns D, they are bend but don’t break going up against a QB more than willing to chip it down the field

Why do they keep having Gabriel pass inside the 5?
Because they are selling out HARD on the run. Putting Judkins in the meat grinder won't work, however I would have liked to see a play-action.

Fannin was open in the the end zone on the Herbig sack but Gabriel panicked early.

Man what happened to Freiermuth??
What happened is that suddenly the Steelers have a lot of options on offense. Three tight ends that can catch the ball, three running backs that can be productive. So far as fantasy goes this is probably not the team you want.

As far as tight ends, I think Washington might be the future. But probably not for fantasy.

I've got to say it's no fun facing the Steelers D, but one complaint I see automatically about Gabriel as a rookie is his eyes are on the pass rush way too early. Flacco was largely immobile but he could move enough in the pocket and keep his eyes downfield. Gabriel sees the rush and bails out of the pocket fast, it's cost him 3-4 plays the half.

Tomlin is going to stack the box to stop Judkins and dare the rookie to beat him just as he always does with rookie QBs.

Yep. We've all seen this movie before. Pretty much textbook Mike, and it's exactly what he did.

I assumed a one score Steelers win with Judkins still "getting his" tho. Seems that this year maybe their run D is actually able to stop a team on a given week, which is a refreshing change (for Steelers fan, at least) after the past 3-5 trips around the sun.

Haven't got a chance to watch the whole game yet, but given Garret's stat line, I'm assuming Jones must have had Washington/Anderson in his hip pocket all game long?
