Nice treat to get a preseason game starting this early. Should be the Best game of the weekend.

Yep! I have a draft at 7:00 central and this game will be a nice way to pass some time before it, plus get to see Best (and maybe even Hardesty)!!!!

Lots to watch here. Best has looked really good so far. A big performance today and he'll move further up the board. Stafford will be a good watch if you're considering a QBBC. CJ, Scheffler and Burleson will also be worth watching. And keep an eye on Hillis and whether or not he fares better than Hardesty. He's definitely in the CLE RB mix.

Yeah I hear you, but it just a rookie/FA draft in a 10 team 10 player keeper. Usually, trying to schedule Labor Day weekend never works so we have always done the week before.

uh.... he could be gone implies he was going to pull away and he was completely swallowed up at that point. It was a stupid statement by the announcer.

I was thinking about that... very tough call.I know nobody cares, but... It really stinks to be on the end in a 16 team draft... 26 picks will happen between my even and odd round picks. It makes reaching a necessity. And I'm not even going to benefit from the tight wraparound, because the second best drafter in our league picks 15th, so he'll pick twice on each wraparound.

I watched last night Ryan Mathews and was very impressed. I no longer think that he is a reach at his ADP. But I still think that Best even at his ever rising ADP is a steal, and should be chosen before Mathews.

You sure he wasn't talking 1.12? I think there was some sarcasm over the folks moving these guys up the boards. On the same note though if you don't get Best on the 1/2 turn you might not get him on the 3/4 turn anymore.

Traded down to 1.03 earlier in the summer in the PPR I was in. (Figuring Matthews/Bryant/Spiller would go 1-2)At this point IMO, you want Best, you'll probably have to take him 1 to be certain.-------------------------I think Kevin Smith looks pretty spry for someone coming off ACL injury. He's going to make for a nice backup RB for the Lions.
