Could have got a good return early in the year for Bell, instead just ignoring the situation and if they don't pull a move by the trade deadline they will get an ok compensatory pick for him. Should have traded him early in the season and got something out for him

They can’t do that if he doesn’t sign his tender. They want the compensatory pick. I’d be fine with him signing the tender and riding the pine unless Conner gets hurt the rest of the way.

No, he will not be the starter. He will have to earn his time. Conner has been better on the ground than Le’Veon was last year and on par in terms of YPC in the air (and I understand that Bell probably brings more to the table in route running). Conner > breaking tackles, more breakaway runs, faster speed of play and great at blitz pickup.
