What if they change leagues in the trade?

In the sim, they will have a "combined" season for someone who is traded. That combined season represents the combination of their stats over the course of a full season... but you have the option of picking the player on either team they were on.  So, in the case of a player traded from the AL to the NL, you can choose either team, and therefore, either league, when "drafting" him in the sim itself.

Basically you have to use the combined season for a player, you can't use only the stats he accumulated for playing with one team if say he was doing well on one team and then got traded and tanked, or vice versa. Ignore the American or National league only stuff, I think that applies more to the older sims they did that had historical players in different leagues.
