BTTF 2018: MLB123746 (1 Viewer)

So whoever texted me I texted back Danny Jansen, C Toronto but I'm not sure if he's available. If not, I will update my list and make a new pick

Pretty sure the team is not looking to good but at least I'll have a lot of crappy options:

CA: Brian McCann, Tyler Flowers, Roberto Perez

1B: Carlos Santana, Hanley Ramirez (also will play a lot of SS)

2B: Joe Panik, Jed Lowrie

3B: Justin Taylor, Luis Valbuena

SS: Jorge Ploanco, Franklin Barreto

OF: Bryce Harper, Andrew McCutchen, Michael Taylor, Ben Zobrist, Austin Meadows, Charlie Tilson

SP: Jose Quintana, Jon Lester, Jake Faria, Dan Straliy, Jhoulys Chacin, Kylye Gibson, Steven Wright, Antonio Senzatela

RP: Arodys Vizcaino, A.J. Minter, Brad Brach, Ross Stripling, Josh Fields, James Pazos

Here's my lineup.  I think it's good:

1.  LF - Odubel Herrera

2. 2b - Brian Dozier

3. ss - Manny Machado

4. 3b - Miguel Sano

5. rf - Steven Souza

6. cf - Nomar Mazara

7. 1b - Justin Bour

8. c Robinson Chirinos.

If we get, I dunno, 14 people who say they wanna go 55 this year in the next 24 hours we'll go 55.  List so far:

1. Frosty

2. Scoobus

CA: Evan Gattis (HOU), Travis d'Arnaud (NYM), Jett Bandy (MIL)

1B: Jose Abreu (CWS)

2B: Jonathan Schoop (BAL), Eric Sogard (MIL)

3B: Adrian Beltre (TEX ), Jedd Gyorko (STL)

SS: Marcus Semien (OAK), Freddy Galvis (SD)

OF: Michael Conforto (NYM), Jackie Bradley (BOS), Michael Brantley (CLE), Nicky Delmonico (CWS), Ben Gamel (SEA), Boog Powell (OAK)

SP: Clayton Kershaw (LAD), Aaron Nola (PHI), Dylan Bundy (BAL), Matt Shoemaker (LAA), Jason Vargas (NYM), Ty Blach (SF), Jeremy Hellickson (FA), Brock Stewart (LAD), Austin Pruitt (TB)

RP: David Robertson (NYY), Sean Doolittle (WAS), Sergio Romo (TB), Kelvin Herrera (KC), Dan Otero (CLE), Cory Gearrin (SF - RP)

I generally feel pretty good about the team, as I followed a similar early draft strategy (with some adjustments from there, minor though) as compared to past years.  OF is a calculated risk with early season injuries, but was the only way I could get offensive upside, even at less PAs.  I do need some things to go right, but ####, who doesn't?

instead of 55, i propose a 2 round supp draft at the AS break, reverse order of initial draft.  it will give people a chance to grab innings or fill a need without going 20-142.

Here's my lineup.  I think it's good:

1.  LF - Odubel Herrera

2. 2b - Brian Dozier

3. ss - Manny Machado

4. 3b - Miguel Sano

5. rf - Steven Souza

6. cf - Nomar Mazara

7. 1b - Justin Bour

8. c Robinson Chirinos.
