I don't get turner......numbers are all over the place.  was kind of a journeyman.  all of a sudden at age 32 improves his eye dramatically when it should be going the other way.  he keeps proving me wrong though.

Last year I was in a similar spot and I picked a guy who wasn't really an outfielder, but whose team was sticking him in the outfield. So as not to spotlight I'll say his name was Dumbo. It ended badly.

I have learned nothing.

4.11 Rhys Hoskins, "OF"

I was probably going to take him this round. Kinda glad you did so I can take something I actually need and not be blinded by that awesome bat.

I almost took Weaver at 4.4, but opted for the more veteran Gio Gonzalez after taking Berrios in round 3.

I just put top 10 lists together at every position, lets see how that lasts until my next pick  :banned:

One less SP Godley

He was the backbone of my staff last year
Kyle Hendricks and four pitchers who have not yet even been drafted comprised the starting rotation for the best regular season record in one of the two Leagues.

Creativity helps.

Hendricks was my savior 2 years ago. Got him in the 6th round after going bat heavy early. Really didn't think it was a pick with much upside, I just needed a body.

Can't remember -- from your 2017 BTTF squad, did you move Jake Arietta at some point?
Yes I did.  He was my first round selection (and wasn't bad, but didn't live up to the billing). Even with his relative drop off, helped me get a top offense and defensive 3B along with a starter who "should have" been just about as good as Arrieta if not better*

* He wasn't.

I seriously considered drafting a team with 3 superstar hitters and then drafting 20 starting pitchers and 27 relievers and trading off all the excess pitching for hitting to build a lineup. There are always like 10 teams with an extra full-time hitter or two that goes wasted.

Could be an absolute train wreck, but I would still win more games than RnR did last year....;)
