Buffalo at Baltimore game thread (1 Viewer)

Bills defense with no pressure, poor discipline and poor communication. That's not so great when the offense has negative yards so far, lol.

Fun. Newhouse was in as a 6th lineman on 1st down and promptly got called for holding.

This team has a bad O-line and bad d-backs and zero depth at both. When you can't defend the pass and can't protect your QB, it's going to be a loooooong season.

It's one thing to be not be talented, it's another to also be undisciplined and mistake prone.

Holding, false start, etc. And no excuse for Benjamin not coming down with that 2nd and long pass. Just...yuck.

Peterman looks awful, the Bills can't pass blocking, and their WRs keep dropping passes. So of course Peterman has thrown it 7 times and McCoy has just 2 carries. That makes sense. :wall:

Tremaine Edmunds with a sack and now with a forced fumble. Great job by the rookie. Matt Milano has been doing a great job today too.

:lmao:

Peterman HAS to know that he can't take a sack there and push them back to the edge of FG range. Honestly, the only reason not to put Allen in for the 2nd half is if the Bills believe it would ruin him. This is just brutal.

Taron Johnson hurt and of course Buffalo made Vontae Davis inactive. Because the Bills have such great depth there. Sheesh.

And is Buffalo going to get any real pressure against the pass?

Well, let's not compare last year's team to this year. We all know what the problem is... Incognito, Wood, Glenn. That's a HUGE loss and they did nothing to address it.
I'm being facetious and I agree with the Bills decision to move on from Tyrod in the longer-term.  You are correct about losing those pieces, though I do think that Tyrod's scrambling ability masked a lot of poor offensive play.  They can't hide behind a scrambling QB and hope that he can pull something out of his ### on a 3rd down anymore.

The O-line wasn't great last year. Tyrod chased a ton and the run blocking was crap. Lots of penalties.

At what point does the O-line coach start taking some blame for the poor play and all the penalties?

I'm not saying it was great, but those guys were a lot better than what we have now, at least in the cases of Incognito and Wood.

Did Collins get hurt? I’m not watching but no yardage for him since the TD.
Not that I saw.  Bills defense tightened up a little bit after that first drive....you could've driven a truck through the holes he was getting.  He's in the game, just not doing much.
