Buffalo at Baltimore game thread (1 Viewer)

If Baltimore is going to keep playing dirty, then maybe it IS a bad idea to have Allen in there.

Harbaugh should have some class and get that jerk out of there and tell him to cool it.

There is a legitimate chance that this year’s @buffalobills may be the WORST NFL team we’ve seen this decade. Forget records (the 0-16teams in Detroit & CLEVELAND in recent memory. I’m not talking record. I’m just saying they are God-Awful. Is there any worse than Peterman? #Lordy

Those last 2 throws are why you put Allen out there in a game like this.
The line is still terrible and the receivers are second-rate, but he can move around, avoid the sack, and make plays outside the pocket.  Peterman just can't do that.  It's not Peterman's fault that he's surrounded by an awful supporting cast, but he has no chance out there.

I really don't understand all the called runs for Lamar Jackson.  I get that in a competitive game that is one of the weapons he brings, but in a blowout where you are trying to get him practice reps, you should be calling nothing but standard passing plays for him so he can get the practice and avoid the big hits.

Allen had a lot more time to throw than Peterman since the A-Team for the Ravens is on the bench right now.  There's no question that Allen is a much better QB than Peterman, even with his inexperience, but I'd still play Peterman - I don't care at all about winning now.

This is reasonable too.  I wouldn't have a problem with Peterman starting next week.  Either way is fine with me.

I'm not sure this is true. Allen is getting hit awfully quick, he's just able to move a bit and also get a pass away since he can see over the guys in his face due to his height while Peterman was just throwing it up.

So question for future Bills games.  Should you really play your studs against them when they might only get 2 quarters of work?
I mean, I don't think the Bills will be good this season, but I don't think every game is going to end up like this one.  They'll struggle to win more than 3-4 games but they're not gonna get wiped off the field every week like they did this week.  I don't think I'd be concerned from a fantasy standpoint.
