***Buffalo at Detroit*** (9.5, 54.5) Happy Thanksgiving -12:30 kickoff (1 Viewer)

Oh, I didn't know it was a complex with Tiger Stadium (or whatever they call it). Tiger Stadium, IIRC, used to be downtown, didn't it?

Buffalo’s O-line is in shambles and Allen is responding with panic. @Steve Tasker, you were right, this team is toast. There’s no solution to improve the O-line, or Doresy’s poor playcalling, or filling in the loss of Von Miler.

The injuries are killing em, the pressure is getting to Allen on every play, he's already hurt, defense is missing like the entire secondary, starting MLB, and both defensive ends. I mean they're still playing okay, but this isn't a Super Bowl team.

Huh? You mean a place-kick? Unless rules have changed you can't use a tee on free kicks which is why teams punt.

Tees don't matter at that level. They don't use them for placekicking and they don't add too much to the kickoffs. What they cost is a man to hold the ball upright.

And I doubt that is the rule after a safety. That seems very odd.

I hate to say it but Swift is one of my least favorite talented Lions players in awhile. So much talent but just always seems to do something wrong, always banged up, indecisive.

Looks like this is the rule:

ARTICLE 2. BALL IN PLAY AFTER SAFETY

After a safety, the team scored upon must put the ball in play by a free kick (punt, dropkick, or placekick) from its 20-yard line. An artificial or manufactured tee cannot be used.”

Some big mistakes: safety, missed FG, Swift drop. Still I don’t think anyone watching can say the Bills are significantly better than the Lions today.

Dorsey’s seat needs to be getting really hot. Allen getting crushed by the pass rush and yet Buffalo is throw throw throw against the 31st run defense in the league.
