Build a FRANCHISE draft year 2 (2 Viewers)

I'm fine with randomizing it as long as the order isn't posted on the forums until all participants are confirmed to be active and ready. If the remaining guy who hasn't given an email doesn't respond, then I don't want a potential replacement to choose to join or not based on the draft pick of the team.

I had to set it to 3rr first (hence no changes) then do a randomizer, which I am now. I then will look at where people that have 2 tms pick to make sure that is fair.

Why'd we randomize three times? My pick got worse every round, lol.
Okay - the fourth randomized one made my pick a bit better, lol.

To clarify, I don't care about my position too much - I'm excited by the challenge.

No HC please; dont want to hear people talking about how their 3rd string saftey is a great pick because it fits their coaches "Scheme", you are your own coach.

We decided to do away with the HC idea. And BTW, my 3rd string S will be so elite that he'll fit any scheme!!!!

Any trading allowed?
I would vote yes for trading. It allows you to on the web site. Also, that makes it more realistic.
I love trading like everyone but I think that could potentially really slow us down as guys wait for replies on trade offers before making picks, plus all it takes is one horrible trade to really skew things. That said I'd love to be able to trade entire drafts before we start...yeah I hate my spot lol.

This...no trades.

49ers/organizdchaos... I'm here. Thanks for letting me join..

Followed link from email from someone for draft site...

Couple questions.

Do I need to create an account on there to? Or can I just draft as a guest?

Also, is the order finalized now and has it basically started with first team able to pick?

Login to MFL site and on home screen make sure you click change password. Then you login to draft.
Not sure what I'm missing here... Maybe it's the lack of sleep idkI need to log onto MFL main site? Then I need to change password on home screen of draft page?

Can't find where I can log into MFL site... Clicked link from email which took me to draft page and it just asked for a password?

Hate this 6th pick. Not enough young qbs so it's either one of the old guys or a different position.

Also, I'll just go ahead and state that Nate Blough is a "co-commissioner" of this draft. He was a good participant last year and has done a lot more setup than I have for this year's draft. Many thanks to him for helping set this up.

Also, just to create some transparency as to why we haven't started, last I heard from Nate, bleachercreacher (Bengals) hasn't given an email address for the MFL invite.

Can we delay starting until Saturday? I haven't had a chance to put any rankings together with work and everything. Also, did we decide the timers and stoppage times for this year's draft?

I want to avoid skipping picks this year. I think the fact that MFL allows pre-draft queueing can help things move along smoothly. Originally I was going to say increasing the clock from 1 to 2 hours would be beneficial to prevent skipping but since we can easily queue up picks, I think a 1 hour clock is fair on the weekdays from 9-5. Obviously, not using up the entire clock is encouraged.

I would be for pre draft swapping of positions. If anyone actually wants to do that, both owners PM me and I can edit it in the draft order. Mainly this is for fun, no money involved and the order was random, so I see absolutely no problem with this. The only thing I think we should avoid is draft pick trading i.e. a 1st for a 2nd and 3rd.

Nate - are we still just waiting on bleachercreacher? If he doesn't respond by the end of today, I say we start looking for a replacement tomorrow.
