heres some players who are going to be either busts or sleepers next year:JJ Arrington, RB, Cardinals: Has some nice moves, just wasnt productive this year at allMike Williams, WR, Lions: Has to work out and get some speedRicky Williams, RB, Dolphins: This guy is going to have a HUGE '06Edgerrin James, RB, Colts: if he stays with the Colts, he has a great season. If he leaves, his numbers go down.Reggie Wayne, WR, Colts: Same storyDomanick Davis, RB, Texans: this guy is tremendous and very underrated...if he gets traded he wil have a great seasonLamont Jordan, RB, Raiders: Look for him to have even better numbers than '05 if his Oline gets an upgradeCedric Houstin, RB, Jets: could be an average starter, but not if DeAngelo Williams is picked by the JetsDeuce McAllister, RB, Saints: was forgotten by many FF team owners, but will have a beastly season behind a healty OLine. That can practice on a football field, not a parking lot.John Kitna, QB, Bengals: With Carson Palmer out a while and a very dangerous recieving corps, he could have a good year until Palmer comes back.Mushin Mohammed, WR, Bears: With Grossman for a whole season, his numbers will be significantly betterAny other players you think should be on this list?

heres some players who are going to be either busts or sleepers next year:

JJ Arrington, RB, Cardinals: Has some nice moves, just wasnt productive this year at all Can you say AMOS? AZ has to sign a RB & possibly draft one. JJ would work IF there was a major o-line upgrade.

Mike Williams, WR, Lions: Has to work out and get some speed Who's your Quarterback? This is a major issue & needs resolved before this team can produce.

Ricky Williams, RB, Dolphins: This guy is going to have a HUGE '06 Depends on where he lands. I can see him be traded.

Edgerrin James, RB, Colts: if he stays with the Colts, he has a great season. If he leaves, his numbers go down. I think Edge could have a great year just about anywhere he is featured.

Reggie Wayne, WR, Colts: Same story

Domanick Davis, RB, Texans: this guy is tremendous and very underrated...if he gets traded he wil have a great season AGREED.

Lamont Jordan, RB, Raiders: Look for him to have even better numbers than '05 if his Oline gets an upgrade

Cedric Houstin, RB, Jets: could be an average starter, but not if DeAngelo Williams is picked by the Jets Not in 2006. CuMar will be back with a vengeance.

Deuce McAllister, RB, Saints: was forgotten by many FF team owners, but will have a beastly season behind a healty OLine. That can practice on a football field, not a parking lot. Unknown. Too many changes happening here.

John Kitna, QB, Bengals: With Carson Palmer out a while and a very dangerous recieving corps, he could have a good year until Palmer comes back. Kitna takes a hike. He already said he wants to test FA and he is a good vet to have. Unless Palmer is out for '06, Jon won't be a Bengal.

Mushin Mohammed, WR, Bears: With Grossman for a whole season, his numbers will be significantly better

Any other players you think should be on this list?
Brandon Lloyd WR, Niners: The guys has the talent to be a big time WR. Now if he can get a decent QB plus a running game (Norv Turner should be able to provide one!)Alex Smith, TE, TB: Learned the ropes in 2005 and his production should increase in 2006.

Wouldn't that apply to anyone?
I was  myself. How can a single player be either a bust or a sleeper? To be a bust there has to be a collective expectation about his prospects in the first place. And to be a sleeper you have to be off the radar. I don't think there can be a collective expectation about a player while at the same time he's off most people's radars.

A guy who busts as a sleeper would be called a bleeper then. I've had quite a few bleepers on my teams. In fact I've used the term a lot, mostly while watching games: "You (BLEEP)er! How could you drop that?!"

Or a Slust? Better just make that a slut.

I look for Portis to be undervalued next year.
Interesting. The majority of the posters here put him in the top 5 now. Do you expect him to be the #1 player, or to drop by the beginning of next year?
