Do homers think that it's a given that he'll reclaim his job once healthy?

Not a homer, but that's an easy question to answer. As if Tater and Duckett are anywhere near the RB KJ is.

That 4.1 career per carry average is monstrous.

What was Benson's stat from the other night? 19 carries for 33 yards. I have no doubt that Jones is and will be a better back than Benson once he returns.

KJ is a much better RB than Benson. He is better in every aspect.

There is no doubt KJ is a beter RB. Benson will be a far better FF RB though.Lions have no D, meaning they will have to throw to come from behind,Bear have great D meaning short fields, grinding the clock. Bear play they Lions twice and vice versa.

No, I'm comparing the two as running backs. KJ had a nice rookie year. His second season was a disaster due to Mooch, IMO. He was a stud last year until the injury, due mainly to Martz using him as he should. All this behind one of the weakest OL in the league. Benson has a great OL and couldn't win the starting gig from TJ. The Bears trade Jones in the offseason I guess to show Benson he needs to get his butt in gear. Too bad he sucks a fat one and is a big baby to go along with it. Jones will have a much, much better career between the two.

BTW, that's Benson's career per carry average just to let you know. He's always had a much better line to work with as well.
