Calling all Zach Miller OAK TE Owners (1 Viewer)

He should be healthy coming off two weeks rest from the foot injury and after seeing Gronkowski put 3 TDs on the PIT defense, maybe he's a good play?

Will be watching practice reports this week. If he practices, I may start him depending on the health of my other injured TE.

I'm not sold that he's ready yet based on what was being discussed in certain threads last week, but if he's playing, I'm starting him. And what Gronk did has nothing to do with it.

Right, I guess it'd be more b/c he's the Raiders most targeted receiver?

My league counts WRs and TEs the same so I'm thinking about starting Zach Miller over the likes of Randy Moss, Davone Bess, and Jacob Tamme (back).

The Raiders have been putting up crazy yardage/points lately.

If he is healthy then I am going to play him. He should have a field day against the Steelers secondary.

Well I started him for 8 weeks before picking up Tamme.

Now Tamme may be injured.

If Tamme is healthy, then I start Tamme.

I tried trading Miller a few days ago and couldn't get any interest.

Now with the trade deadline for my league being this Friday, I am considering trading Tamme if I know Miller is healthy.

All I want is a #3 WR in return.

Hopefully, started Hernadez the last two weeks, lost by 3.3 pts last week after his goose egg Sunday night.

Those with Miller and Tamme, who are you starting? I'm on the fence, Tamme has put up good numbers but you can't ignore Oakland going up against the best rush defense so they might have to pass the ball for most of the game.

Nope--going with Keller vs HOU. I love Miller but with a bad wheel and Jason Campbell throwing the ball, I think I'll pass this week. Oh and the Raiders most targeted receiver has 6 catches the last three games he's played. Just sayin...

I see your point but its tough to judge his last three games since he was injurred. IF (big if) he is healthy could be a very good play. I will roll with him over Mercedes Lewis.

"Nov 18, 2010 6:50 pm Coach Tom Cable confirmed Thursday that TE Zach Miller (foot) is "on track" to play against the Steelers this week.

Fantasy Source Spin: Cable also feels good about CB Nnamdi Asomugha (ankle) and DT John Henderson (foot) returning to game action. The Steelers are far from a shut-down unit against opposing tight ends (12-most points allowed), so Miller is once again a TE1 option. Rotoworld ranks him sixth this week.

Miller played with this injury against the Seahawks to the tune of 1 catch for 8 yds. We already know Tamme can produce with his injury (plus averaging more targets, has Peyton). Miller this week is high risk, highly speculative.

Not a doctor, looked up foot arch injuries and they can be serious (season ending), so outside of glowing reports I won't be starting him this week (Tamme for now).

If willie gay will be covering him, ill be starting him. Gay is the worst defensive back in the history of mankind. Painful to watch.

Thanks Acrobat7.Left Fasano on the bench. "Miller, get in there son."

bumping this to see if anyone has any thoughts after he was limited in practice all week. CBS reports Miller claims he will play. my question is: how well?

I am starting him but if I had another top 10 TE I might think twice. My other TE is Gates and his injury is even worse. Last two weeks I have tried waiver wire wonders to no avail. I plan to keep the roster spot for a WR and run with Miller this week. It sounds risky but I am pretty sure he will play.
