Calvin Johnson, week 5 (1 Viewer)

I am pretty sure he is playing. I am having trouble deciding on him or Lee Evans to go along with Roy Williams and Braylon Edwards. Tough decision.

Calvin Johnson (back) returned to limited drills at practice Wednesday.

The Lions said after Sunday's win over Chicago that Johnson was "close" to playing before the game. Check back later in the week, but the No. 2 overall pick seems to have a good chance to start against Washington early Sunday.

Homers - any updates?
Taken from Detroit Free Press, looks like C. Johnson is good to go"Let's see how Landry, the sixth overall pick in this year's draft, stacks up against wide receiver Calvin Johnson, the second overall pick. Johnson will return after missing a game with a bruised lower back. But the key to stopping the Lions' league-leading passing attack is getting to quarterback Jon Kitna, and the Redskins don't have a good enough pass rush to take advantage of the Lions' protection problems.Kitna has taken 15 sacks over the last two games. But the Redskins finished last in the league in sacks last season with 19, and they have seven through three games this season. Right end Andre Carter is their only real pass rushing threat. When the Redskins blitz, the Lions must burn them.Advantage: Lions"
