Can we come up with a precise definition for "sleeper"? (1 Viewer)

I don't know of a more ambiguous term in FF than "sleeper". Anyone care to offer up a definition on which, hopefully, we can all agree?

It is an impossible term to define... depending on the league you are in, who you play against etc. different players will be sleepers in different leagues.

I prefer to think of a sleeper as someone that I feel will outperform his ADP

A sleeper is not someone buried at #5 on the depth charts...that's a person who is sleeping and will remain sleepy most of the season. I am not looking for Rumpelstiltskin...

NE WR2 slot

HOU RB1 slot...assuming DD is out for awhile

Right, but you know Coles is cemented as the #1WR, and Branch when he returns is the #1WR in NE...so until that happens i want to know who is actually #2 as they may prove to be worthy.

True but he is also being drafted as a #3 WR (#33 WR off the board), so if I think he will finish in the top 24 doesn't that make him a sleeper?

That's why my best choice for a sleeper this year, I will take in the 8th round, and his name is ********.
