He was the subject of mad hype, but he's starting to look like this years Jeremy Reed or Jeremy Hermedia as far as making an impact. Servicable, but unspectacular if things break well. Right now, they are not breaking well. I've got Alex Gonzalez on the waiver wire, and Quentin's my fifth outfielder and not threatening to get off the pine. I do have Felipe Lopez at short, but Gonzalez is really opening my eyes! Cut bait or wait?

it depends what kind of league you are in to be honest. i have him at $10 in an NL keeper league. he had a couple hits and drove in a run monday night. yes, he's off to a slow start, but he will be fine long term. short-term in a nonkeeper league, i wouldn't wait on him.

That shoulder is still an issue for him. He has a slight tear in his non throwing shoulder. Andy LaRoche played through that problem all last year in AAA and it didn't affect him but it has been an issue with Quentin so far this year.
