Tough game to figure for me. Could be very entertaining though. When in doubt flip a coin,or,don't take the rookie QB in his first game on the road...

Limited to the Faclons' first series but Bijan looked good. Ridder had the jitters though.

Panthers offense looks prepared. Impressed so far with Young & Co.
 
Don't understand at all running Chuba and Shenault on those short yardage situations, but Bryce looked really good on that drive.

Weird personnel moves for sure. Shenault looked good but why not Sanders over Hubbard?

I'm guessing that was the script, but Hubbard also had problems at the handoff on two runs followed by just running into the back of his blockers. Just ugly on that drive.
 
Bijan in motion for a short route but not targeted. Love to see them getting him involved like that. The guy is going to bust many
 
Terry Glenn tossed Tom Brady's first NFL TD ball into the stands and my buddy got it. Had it in a box for years, before finally selling it last year. Some other guy in RI bought it. I was shocked Brady or Kraft didn't try for it.

I wonder it they got that ball back that Hurst just tossed into the the stands like an idiot.

The ball from Brady's first touchdown pass, to Terry Glenn in an October 2001 game against the Chargers, went for $428,842 at auction via Lelands.com. The Patriots won that game, 29-26 in overtime. Glenn caught the pass and tossed the ball into the stands. The fan who caught it kept it for nearly 20 years.

My first thought was about the ball too.

My assistant coach and good buddy. He has had season tickets forever. It was that one year after the strike, where the NFL was letting fans keep balls. I was surprised he sold it.
 
No one should be shocked this a close game or Carolina possibly winning.
Panthers are pretty good along both sides of the line IMHO, just a. matter of the rookie QB not making a lot of mistakes
