Carolina at New Orleans (1 Viewer)

The conventional wisdom is that Brees and Co. can still shred 8 in a box defenses. I would think that's still true.
Probably. Have determined 100% if they don’t stack the box Ingram/Kamara will destroy toy. At least there’s a chance. Surprised no one has tried it.

dumb penalty on Peppers. Lewis is driving and causes them both to fall, and they call the foul on  Peppers. Way to react with the crowd refs

It was called immediately, no hesitation. I think it was more the "neck hold" than for the out of bounds takedown.

Why are the Panthers running the ball three straight times down by 14. I guess I wouldn't trust Cam to throw the ball to the right team either if I was Ron.

weird how the calls for player safety are so stressed, but it is fine to grab a guy's leg and twist it like that, which basically makes the chance of injury greater then most. i am guessing it is real hard to call in live action, but no doubt that is more dangerous then others things called

Couldn’t find Funchess in the injury thread

Anyone seen him? Tall guy, kinda slow, wears #17

I didn't see Panthers first drive, but Funchess had a long target knocked away at the last moment once during the second drive. Hadn't seen Funchess targeted since.

Panthers D completely cr@pping the bed so far.
yeah, the issues are a bit of heart for the Panthers D. can't be conditioning at this point in the season, but you have 3 solid chances at Kamara and let him bulldoze you over it isn't good

he has been quite elusive and difficult to bring down against many defenses, though I agree it seems like he should have been tackled on both TDs.

Had Ingram stopped to force a punt earlier in the drive and couldn't get him down

It looks like Cam doesn't even care to be out there.
yeah he does. that 3rd and 7, where he almost went down on his own before being touched, was not encouraging. and i get they are really focusing on covering Funchess, but almost all of his passes are check downs (from what i have seen only half watching). it's like he is so worried about an INT or something he isn't really trying

I agree with what others are saying about the poor tackling by the Panthers on Kamara.

Kamara deserves some credit for it though. He seems to be really hard to tackle.

Ingram has a nice run where his second effort got the 1st down as well. Panthers not tackling well for the most part overall.
