Carr Back At Practice (1 Viewer)

In a word - wow.

From RotoWorld:

Panthers coach John Fox confired Wednesday that David Carr (back) will be his starter if Carr is healthy enough to play in Week 8.

Carr practiced without restrictions on Wednesday, so he appears on track to play versus the Colts. It's not exciting news for Steve Smith owners.

 I don't understand how some of these coaches maintain jobs these days. Is it not blatantly obvious to anyone who knows football that 92 year old Vinny Testaverde is still better than David Carr. Poor Steve Smith.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

VIN-NY!

VIN-NY!

VIN-NY!

- oldest QB to start and win a game

- has now thrown a TD in 21 (!) straight seasons

- everyone played better when Vinny was in, even the D

if they aren't going to play Vinny, I bet the Jags would give a nice pick for him right now.

:wall: I watched Davidson try to be an OC for Cleveland last year. I wasn't impressed with him then, and I'm not too impressed with him now.Every time I think about trading Smith, he puts up enough points to make me want to keep him another week. Ugh.

Looks like RotoWorld may have jumped the gun a bit. Both KFFL and RotoWire are saying Carr will be able to play if healthy this week but Fox apparently did not say he would start. I'll edit my original post. Here's the RotoWire report:

Coach John Fox said that if Carr (back) is healthy, he will play in Sunday's game against Indianapolis, the Charlotte Observer reports. Carr was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That said, Fox would not go so far as to say that Carr would start, leaving the door open for the possibility of seeing both Carr and Vinny Testaverde in action Sunday.

EVERY Panther fan I know wants Vinny in there. EVERY Steve Smith owner wants Vinny in there. Outside of Carr's mother, does ANYONE want him starting?
