NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Jaguars “plan to continue” Travis Hunter’s trajectory as a two-way player.
Rapoport specifically called him a No. 1 receiver when referring to how the Jags see him. Hunter is currently on injured reserve with a season-ending LCL tear. He is expected to be ready for the start of the offseason program in 2026. Hunter looked like he was turning the corner as a wideout just before suffering the knee injury in practice. That, of course, sparked questions about whether he will continue playing on both sides of the ball. For now, that appears to be the plan.
