CBS cuts away from end of Dallas game (1 Viewer)

Dallas/Cleveland the early game on CBS here in SoCal.

Spent three hours watching the game only for them to switch to Den/SD, due to contractual agreements, right before Dallas attempted the tying FG at the end of regulation.

Never had this happen before. Shocking disregard to the viewers.

And meanwhile, I live 60 miles from Foxboro but I have to watch the Cowboys game finish. I've already missed the entire first quarter of my Pats game.

####### NFL just can't get it right.

Same here. It's ridiculous, nobody here gives a rats #### what happens between Dallas and Cleveland. And Red Zone didn't even acknowledge the 3 TD's scored until the Cowboys game ended, let alone show the highlights. Good stuff.

You will take it. You will like. You will not get lube.

CBS showed the pats game till it ended even tho the broncos game was much closer.

This seems a lot worse.I would think teh Chargesr are the home market in SoCal so it would mnake sense to switch to the beginning of the "home" team game. But SoMass IS "New England."Oh just a reminder: Goodell truly sucks.

That doesn't make any sense. It's the San Diego Chargers, not the SoCal Chargers (at least not yet). Outside of SD county, there shouldn't be any overriding of national games for a Chargers game.

Isn't all of Mass 1/13th of "New England"?

I've actually spent some time there and I can tell you that SoMass has more than 1/13th of all of New England's pubs.

You think that's bad? Here, it was Jets/Rams early and Colts/Pats late. But since the Rams game ended around 3, and the Colts/Pats game wasn't till 3:25, we got bonus coverage of Cowboys/Browns. Except they left it going till the game ended, so we missed about the first half of the first quarter of the Colts/Pats game. Lame.

1/6th. New England consists of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The Thirteen Colonies were Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island.Maine is in New England, but was not part of the Thirteen Colonies.

Correction - I just looked on Mapquest and technically I'm 89 miles from Foxboro (in eastern CT). I guess I must not be in the Pats official market. So check this out - my early game that day wasn't even the Cowboys - it was the Jets Rams. They cut away from that game after it became a blowout and gave us the Cowboys, which as we know went into overtime and I was forced to sit threw it while missing the entire first quarter of the Pats game. So to sum this up - I live 89 miles from Foxboro in the middle of Patriots country, and the NFL made me stay with the BACKUP 1:00 game until it was finished. Nice job there. And to top it all off I have been searching for an authentic Patriots jersey ($250) for the last 3 months. Nobody can get them due to some sort of "problem" with Nike. So you have a guy who's more than willing to buy one of your overpriced products for $250 - but you just can't get it to his market and it's already week 12. Another nice job by the NFL.The NFL used to be the standard bearer when it came to TV and marketing. As my examples show, they have fallen a long long way since the glory days of the 80's. If I ever get the pleasure of meeting Roger Goodale in person I'm going to congratulate him for screwing up what everyone thought was once unscrewable.

Spend the $ and get the NFL ticket that's why they are Messing with you...the nfl wants more Cash
