CBS Sportsline Down... AGAIN! (1 Viewer)

Tryin to check my office league score - I think they are down again.

MONEY is all they understand - send a message and use someone else next year.

I haven't had one problem with Sportsline all year. I see all of these threads every week but it's worked perfectly fine for me 100% of the time.
It's only be slow one time in my league, other than that it's worked great. I don't know what the people in here whining expect this message board to do about their problems with sportsline.
it depends what server your league is on. they send out a message stating that the thousands of free leagues they did this year were supposed to be distributed evenly, but that they were not in error. if the server your league is on also has thousands of free leagues you're beat this year.

Click on the screen that asks if you want to hide your logo.....then click on the logo, you may be able to get in on that backdoor...I have for two of my four leagues on CBSCRAPLINE

Still down for me. When I get the actual CBS site up it says I have no fantasy teams. When I click on Fantasy it tells me I have no fantasy teams but to click here to see if they are hidden. Whatever that means.Site freezes and closes down my IE when I click there.Meanwhile, my MFL site, for half the price, is still updating itself every 90 seconds without fail, while there is talk going on in the chat room, and postings being made on the message board.
Precisely the same symptoms as I am experiencing. The game updates ceased, my browser (IE) crashed, and upon restarting, my fantasy teams are non-existent, click to see if they are hidden, ...

It provides a forum for those experiencing issues to confirm the issues are not isolated to one's machine. Don't be such a moron.

They need to offer a discount to all current subscribers to renew for next year. Simple as that.
And just think, if they give you 50% off then they would only be charging you as much as MFL and other sites which actually work.

I have'nt had one instance all season of any interrupted service- works every time.
Protoslacker = CBS Sportsline employee? Hmmmm........
I've been a CBS guy as long as they've been around. Up until this year, zero problems, 100% customer satisfaction from my league. This year, we all gave them F's and we're going elsewhere next year as it has been a complete nightmare.

They've been awful today on both my league's. between not getting on and that annoying "script error" message.

Somebody, probably me, needs to give them the link to thsi thread. maybe then they get how much they're letting people down with the crappy conenction.

These clowns are awesome. Two of my leagues insist on using them instead of MFL though. If they don't switch next year, I'll just find new leagues.

I still can't get in and there isn't even a game going right now.....talk about a huge waste of money. NEVER AGAIN....maybe try fanball next year I hear you can actually get in their site and check scores.

Trying to convince my league to change over to MFL next year. Sadly, I'll have to wait until the offseason because of a mandate from the Commish, but I think I got some members curious.

They appear to be back now, but a few minutes ago, my league's scoring page said :

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties.Your data will not be lost. Please try again later.

FWIW, a script error is your issue, not sportsline's.that's due to your browser.

Sportsline/NFL.com is the worst. It's ridiculous how the only non-free site is the absolute worst to use come gameday. I'm making a full transition to aol.com's site next year. It's fast and free.

CBS is the most expensive site, but it isn't the only non-free. MFL and RTS are both very high regarded, have a lot more functionality than the free sites, and are half the price or less than CBS.

While technically true, as a web programmer I would maintain a proper site would work with a browsers's standard / default security settings. Last year I had no problems with Firefox. This year, it basically doesn't work.
