CBS Sportsline is Down (1 Viewer)

Was workimg "OK" for me up until about 12:20 (E.T.)........now it is completely off line for me.

Usually by week 5 they work some of the bugs out......but this year every week is the same - either very slow or off-line right before kick-off. :wall:

 
Last minute changes understood, but yet another reason why to put your upcoming weeks' lineup in on Tuesday, with most likely scenarios, and adjust accordingly.

Last minute folks... my lineup's set, promise to stay out until the first round of games.

 
Yeah. I was able to make a change to one of my three CBS Sportsline teams, but can't for the rest now, and haven't been able to for the last 30-40 minutes. Too much traffic is my guess. But come on, by Week 5, you should be WELL prepared for that. :thumbdown:

Mine are set, but I made a trade, and I sometimes like to make last minute adjustments. That's not an unreasonable request when my leagues are paying them $150 or whatever it is for that functionality.
 
This may be the last straw for my league and this outfit... for three years we have suffered through their ineptitude in keeping their site online during peak demand times.

Are other sites more reliable in this area? Recommendations would be welcomed.

I have leagues on MFL and AOL (which is free), and no problems with either of them.

No I COMPLETELY AGREE... just reminding folks who hemmed and hawwed and left a bye week position in there to plug in the starter for this week the morning of... you know who you are.
 
FWIW - This is not the 1st time for CBS and will not be the last. It is a reason why I have considered moving to myfantasyleague for the last 2 years now.

Even worse - we have a guy flipping out right now because he wanted to screw with the other owner's head and put his bench on the starting lineup. He has not been able to get on as of yet.

 
For a company with CBS' resources, this is completely and utterly unnacceptable. It is pathetic.

I am in four leagues, divided up as above. I have had 0 issues this year in three of them. Wanna guess which ones?

Game hasnt started. Call your commish, leave a voicemail. Call your oppponent, do the same. Tell them why you are calling and that should be good and timestamped before game starts.

CBS's new slogan should be: "Half the quality at twice the price of MFL!"
 
Quit complaining folks...at least our graphics blow away MFL. Also CBS is easier to navigate when it's not beached.

I'm the commish and just spent 45 minutes on the horn with the whole league...I have a whole list of changes to make once this thing is back up.

Suggestions on who we should use next year? This may be the last straw.

Seriously - how is it you guys are still surprised to see issues on this clearly inferior site year after year. You pay more for a crap product and the sooner you realize it, the better off you will be.

blanket statements like this are ALWAYS untrue, regardless of the subject.i can think of at least 5+ reasons to stay with cbs.

 
Down for me also. I picked up Carney this week and dropped Feely and hope that they place Carney in his spot. An email has been sent to the commish. Hopefully he can make the move for me. The "best" part is that I was fighting to stay with MFL this year but lost out because CBS had a "prettier" site.

What about the game in which I just started Culpepper? Can they guarantee that won't be lost also?

In advance of the ineveitable, "Culp shouldn't be in your line-up anyway, he sux!" It's a 2QB league, and yes, he STILL should not be in my lineup, lol!

Xpertsports.com is down right now as well....so much for the WCOFF website.
 
Sportsline Live Scoring is showing Simms with a miraculous recovery, throwing 18 passing yards and a touchdown... at the same time giving Gradkowski 41 passing yards and a touchdown!

 
Finally! 1:32 and they let me in. Carney is playing for me so all is well, in that league but there were changes in other leagues I wanted to do but nothing as major as leaving points on the bench. This is still ridiculous and I'm interested in seeing MymanOtis' 5+ reasons for staying with CBS as well.
