cbs waivers didn't run last night - commish question (1 Viewer)

I don't want this to turn into piling on CBS.

I've used them 10 years and i've never had the waivers process "not run" before.

but in one of my 2 leagues on there, it flat out didn't run.

So of course i've got guys e-mailing me asking WTF?

I've got an e-mail into CBS... what's the shark commish move here?

Basically right now if you goto add a player it acts as if waivers will run tomo morning.

Even WEIRDER is that i get mobile SMS alerts anytime there is a transaction and I got one text that had one of the waivers transactions on there, but then when i went to the site, even that move didn't get made.

thoughts?

Are you the commisioner? If so you need to "start waivers" in the commish tools any time prior to the first time they were supposed to run.

yes, i clicked "start waviers" right after the draft... people were allowed to do transactions prior to week 1 - draft was in late august

sometimes there is just a lull then. My guess is it should run soon. It happened to me once I beleive.

I had same problem. Since I was up last night, I witnessed this debacle as it unfolded. The waivers did in fact run. But about an hour prior to the run, all players were designated as free agents. Two owners in my league circumvented waivers, probably unknowingly, adding their players ahead of everyone else. Then the waivers ran at 2AM. I checked the CBS helpdesk, and they were aware of the issue, said they were working on a solution. Apparently that solution is to rewind any transactions and push the waiver run back a day.

I really hate CBS this year. And I've been using them for many years.

thank you for this response. This is the first year where i've felt frustrated (although there were a couple years where week 1 was a DISASTER) to the point where i may start shopping for another site. The ads and apps are as frustrating or moreso to me than this glitch. Those apps are such a horrible money grab that i want to punch them through the screen.

Lull my ### - they screwed up royally, and now they're apparently hoping no one noticed. I've received no notification email of any kind, no apology, no posted league message explaining their mistake. I might be inclined to write it off as a harmless mistake, but they've so horribly ruined that site this year that I'm absolutely fed up.

I was adding fa's and saw Julio Jones was a fa :excited: I reloaded it a few times and it went away. I funging hate CBS.

Our CBS waivers ran just fine last night. We had no problems.
I'm thinking that CBS only rolled the clock back in leagues where one or more owners actually took advantage of their glitch by circumventing waivers. Otherwise they left you alone. No need to screw over anybody unnecessarily - no more than they already have.

Wait, they charge for their mobile apps on top of the $150?

no, their mobil access app is free.i'm talking about this new money-making concept they have on their desktop site where they sell these "apps" for lineup optimization, "cheatsheets", even "team naming app", and are charging each consumer for that a la carte. It's a bit insulting actually.
