HoHum. For all the angst, once Cedric gets into camp, people will forget all about the holdout. A lot of people forget that LT2 was a holdout before his rookie seaon too.Yes it means that Cedric won't start right away, but Chicag won't be losing any games this year because he isn't on the field. Their season was shot the moment Grossman went down.This does present an interesting drafting opportunity for those of us in keeper leagues. He might just drop 2 or 3 spots from his previous ADP.

I know that that rumor is 17mil guaranteed, but what are the years attached to the contract? I had heard 6 years where both Brown and Williams were 5 years. Is this correct?

The last contract offered was supposed to be 5 years.

If this is the case I have no more sympathy for Benson. With a contract length of 6 years I can understand that while the guaranty is for more the value is less because the contract is one year longer. Thanks for the info mb.

Longhorn fans will continue to stick up for Benson here, but the fact is the kid is a brat, and a clueless one at that.

Thomes Jones is STILL the better NFL running back.

U of Texas fanand I just saw a blurb that the Chicago Bears D tried to injure Benson becasue they hated him so much and wanted T jones in there

Just passed on him at 5.01 in a dynasty league.. too many visions of Curtis Enis and Rashaan Salaam dancing in my head.
