I need to know this ASAP...my choices are Ahman Green (tomorrow night) and Cedric Houston (Monday Night). I don't have the luxury of time. Any NY Jets homers with insight. The only feedback I got was from CBS Sportsline, and they said the last time Houston was questionable he came out and killed his opponents.
I saw on CBS Sportsline that it was his calf...I guess this is encouraging.
Pretty sure he'll play and be fine. No insight other than that lots of guys that Mangini lists as questionable start and look fine. He games the injury reports too.
It's his calf. With all that's on the line I'm guessing that he'll play. If he can score a TD vs The vikings there is a chance he can get one vs the fish.
He's been questionable for more than a few weeks, so it sounds relatively precautionary. That said, it's definitely worth watching over the next few days to see how much he practices.
Just read this Barlow took extra reps Published Thu Dec 21 11:21:00 a.m. ET 2006 (Rotoworld) Kevan Barlow needed to take extra reps in practice Wednesday because Cedric Houston (questionable, calf) couldn't put in a full workout.Impact: While Houston is normally a good bet to score, it seems there's a chance he won't play in a tough matchup Monday night and is worth sitting. Any homers hearing anymore on this situation? Championship game and was hoping to start Houston as my #2 RB
Cedric Houston (calf) is not expected to play Monday night at Miami.
Leon Washington and Kevan Barlow will almost certainly be the Jets' active running backs. Barlow, who is expected to have fresh legs after being inactive the last three weeks, will likely take the goal-line carries, while Washington might get the bulk of the touches overall. Dec. 22 - 10:25 am et

Cedric Houston (calf) took part in practice on a limited basis Friday. It appears his availability will come down to a game-time decision but Kevan Barlow is expected to be active in any event. Leon Washington is scheduled to see the bulk of the carries for the Jets on Monday night.Source: New York Daily News
