right now, Doug Gabriel has emerged as NE's best WR.He's got the size to be a red zone target and the speed to be a deep threat. It's a combination NE has looked for in a WR for a long time now. While I don't think Gabriel will become a legit #1 fantasy WR, he certainly has some value as a #3 or maybe #2. Gabriel did not see any playing time until NE's week 3 loss to DEN (he was out with a hammy tweak). When he finally entered the game (in the 4th qtr), he tallied 6/65/1td. His first full game was last week agains CIN (4/57/1td). Though I dont' expect that pace of production to continue, it's pretty impressive (10 catches for 122yds and 2TD in 5 quarters of play).Reche Caldwell is NE's #2 WR. He'll be a decent role player for them but just doesn't appear to have the skills to be a teams leading receiver.Troy Brown, while loved and respected in NE, is aging and slower. Not to mention that his days of playing DB aren't over... he saw some time on defense vs. CIN.and finally to the guy you're asking about, Chad Jackson.- He has shown fantastic physical skills. But the hammy has kept him from any regular playing time. Also, there are whispers in NE that CJackson has some "maturity" issues that NE and Brady aren't particularly happy with right now. Peter King mentioned this after a lengthy discussion with Brady. No specifics were given; King only said that CJackson needs to prove to NE that he's committed to football.
