3 tagets for 28 yards against the Browns and one gift of a TD! Has anyone just dumped Chad on waivers? What a waste of roster space he has been.

I think he had more than three TARGETS ... they were just way off!

I had a chance to trade him before this game. but hesitated b/c I thought his value would increase after playing the Brownies.

You got greedy. I thought about this too but wanted to cleanse myself of him and was able to right as the news broke about Carson. It took me several weeks to sell him and most people just weren't interested. As an FYI about his value, I traded Thomas Jones / CJ for Andre Johnson and Bucs D.

a team in one of my leagues dropped him .. I scooped him up in a second... to much potentiol to be dropped.I guess he is to tempting to start if he was or your roster ..??He'll eat pine behind Baby TO , Cotchery , AJ , and D Bowe till he figures it out.

Not to Hijack but who has more value going forward, Chad or Eddie Royal?

Johnson has had 3 tough defenses and an injury to his starting qb.

Royal is the #2 WR on a pass happy offense.

Your chance to sell high on Chad Johnson came and went before the first kickoff in week #1. I have him in one league and I can't get anyone to bite... for anything less than a border line talent that I might cut a few weeks later.

I'd say ER

I got rid of him after week 2. I was pretty deep at WR so I traded him for Scheffler (V. Davis was my TE at the time and Scheffler just had his huge 2 TD game). Even though Scheffler has not done that much, I would still rather have him going forward rather than deal with the headaches of owning Johnson.

I got rid of him before week 1. I gave CJ, Selvin Young and Willie Parker for Brian Westbrook. I'm now exploring the possibility of getting him back on the cheap since my WR3 spot has basically been a revolving door with the loss of Colston. The way I figure it is the available talent on the ww is extremely limited and CJs value has never been lower so he's worth a shot if the price is right.

I was thinking about trading CJ straight up to the Colston owner. I think I can weather the storm (without CJ) until NO's Week 9 bye, as I don't expect Colston to be back to normal until then (even if he does play before the bye).

Now is not the time to sell. I'm a CJ owner and I'm doing my best to weather the storm until, hopefully, he is able to string a few weeks together. Then, you can decide whether he can keep it rolling or hope you can find a buyer. Perhaps someone desperate to fill a bye or injury void with depth at other positions. I think his value has to be at an all-time low right now. Definitely not a seller's market.

Conversely, though, it is definitely a buyer's market and if you can get him on the cheap--especially off the waiver wire :P --then go for it.

Managed to trade him in one league for Santonio Holmes and right now it feels like a steal... we shall see though.
