Here are the ROS Ranks per Fantasy Pros Consensus. I highlighted in red the ones I believe will fall out of top 12 soon. and highlighted the green for who I think will be in top 12.
Maybe buy low on the reds if you like.

rankFantasy ProsHartlinersWhy?
1B. BowersB. BowersN/A
2T. McBrideT. McBrideN/A
3T. WarrenT. WarrenN/A
4G. KittleS. LaPortaN/A
5S. LaPortaT. KelceThis guy was gonna be Red if he didn't injure Worthy, They just need receivers of any type but I would sell high TBH.
6T. KelceT.J. HockensonN/A
7T.J. HockensonT. KraftI guess he is fine but I rather have more upside guys below but didn't want to overreact.
8T. KraftD. NjokuActually can still hold value
9M. AndrewsK. Pitts Sr.Penix is the first good QB since their Rookie Year Breakout
10D. NjokuH. Fannin Jr.Joe Flacco is a dump off machine. Fannin is a cheat code w/ insane usage and I think he can be elite. Bowers
11E. EngramD. KincaidI think this is what i hoped for last year, but there were some old habits to work thru and he is better in year 2
12J. FergusonJ, JohnsonNo Hill, no Foster. Its all his and actually very good game scripts and Rattler loves him
13K. Pitts Sr.I. LikelyAndrews was not looking good, unfortunate timing on Likely to miss RN, I think the breakout is incoming but Andrews can still vulture TD looks.
14D. KincaidM. AndrewsFather Time
15D. GoedertE. EngramBo Nix prefers Sutton, Engram is in the mass of interchangeable TEs non difference makers
16H. HenryJ. Ferguson
17C. LovelandG. KittleHe'll move up again as we near his return but- something is off about SF conditioning and Kittle is older now. Risky
18B. StrangeB. Strange
19H. Fannin Jr.H. Henry
20I. LikelyD. GoedertMeh non difference maker status

The Andrews game cost me last week. Last year the slow start was blamed on the injury. This year? A little "penalty" for the playoff dropsies? I'd buy Likely but doubt the prices are right. The Likely owner has dreams of sugarplums dancing in their heads.

I got myself some Warren in my home league. Giddyup. Passed him over in dynasty for LB3, regrets.

But also, it's week 1. Things we thought we knew in week 1 last year were like 60% incorrect.

Week1 2024 Likely was the top waiver wire pickup and we know how that went ROS.
I wish my league did not require a TE. It is a position on my FF roster that I pretend does not exist, so that I do not chase points.

However, appreciate this write up.

So with Ferguson in red and trending down (and I agree) do you think we see Schoonmaker take a step up in his place? Or is the Cowboy TE of the future still in college right now?

He just had two red zone looks, one he probably should’ve held onto, and hejust signed a contract in the off-season to extend him a few years.

The giant give up a ton of yards to tight ends and have for decades now.

I expect Ferguson to bounce back this week.

The other TE on Dallas to look out for is Brevyn Spann-Ford. Big dude. Did well in preseason. Cowboys are always looking for the next diamond in the rough they can underpay.

My thoughts are all based on TEP, 1.5 PPR for TE's.

There is no way McBride should not live atop this ranking. He's the most every down, every route running TE in the game today and he's massively and actively involved. And healthy, knock on wood.

Bowers takes two hits. One we don't know severity yet, which is his injury but there is a chance it costs him some game(s). The other issue is the new staff looks like they have some baffling usage for him with respect to snap counts and route participation. Stud, don't get me wrong, but a little shine got rubbed off him by that usage even if/when he's healthy.

Kittle down to 17 for an injury that most likely costs him 4 games is way stout IMO. Really with the state of TE's being what they are I could not move him down much, rather miss those 4-5 weeks and have a stud then deal with a bunch of these dudes.

Warren at 3 is justified IMO and even as high as 2 if Bowers injury is a multi-week affair.

Laporta would have to be next in the mix and then a drop off of significant proportions at the position exists though Hockenson seems fairly safe as the next guy up. I actually would put Kittle just behind Laporta for ROS, could even see putting him over Laporta in non-TEP if I thought or knew I could find cover for the next 4-5 weeks.

Njoku is still good but Fannin takes a lot of wind out his sails.

I think Kelce is getting highly overrated. One big play in the opener or his game would have looked like Andrews. Now saying that they need him now and he could have a really nice 5 game stretch but when Rice returns to join Worthy he's going to have some ugly games.

Speaking of Andrews I'm not ready to bury him over one game. His metrics last year with respect to getting open were elite, not good, elite. It's hard for me to think that someone who just turned 30 a few days ago just fell off a cliff, especially when speed was never his calling card. My guess is it was most likely just the way the game went, but.......when Likely returns that's a TEBC and not good for either of them.

Kincaid's stat line does not seem sticky. Sub 50% snap participation and I think less then 60% route participation in a game the Bills went super pass heavy.

I'd probably have Brenton Strange hovering right around my top 10.

Loose summary is be happy if you took McBride early, hang in there if you did the same with Kittles or Bowers, rejoice if you took Warren.

And pickup Mason Taylor if you need a TE and can't or did not get Juwan, I believe he'll be a top 10 TE in the second half of the season if not sooner.

Big picture, we could be seeing an influx of fantasy relevant TE. If so, it would fundamentally change the value of Bowers and McBride.

And also dramatically change draft strategies moving forward. I hope all these guys hit. It would be fun to move on from the punting at TE strategy
