**Chargers at Chiefs** (-5.5, 48) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

Mahomes has the second-most passing yards of the week... with another half to go against one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

Brandon Staley has to be the worst defensive coach in the NFL. Chargers might have the best EDGE combo in the NFL, and this defense is pathetic. Not that this is an easy matchup, but guys are WIDE open.

Attention Waiver Wire Shoppers:

We are having a Week 7 special on Josh Kelley. All purchases will be as-is and returns will be honored after a disappointing Week 8. Receipts required.

Remember when this was a high-scoring, free-wheeling game?

Yep, disappointing 2nd half. Not a single point scored. Mahomes is over 400 and added a little on the ground, but was looking like so much more early on

Edit: oh yay, i jinxed it

Dak Prescott west.

Herbert is a good QB, but boy does he make some awful throws and decisions. Call me crazy, but I almost wonder if Joe Lombardi actually did a better job than we thought. The dink and dunk was annoying, but it kept the offense on schedule.

Ekeler should have had 7-8 catches today. He had several plays where he ran 6 yards and turned around with nobody near him, and Herbert never even looked that way, instead forcing tougher throws into coverage.

As a Bronco fan, I know we will not beat KC anytime soon, but having the KC fans having to deal with all the Swiftie nonsense is so worth it......:lmao:
what exactly is the nonsense "we" are dealing with....?....seriously what does that mean...?...what exactly am I dealing with...?...I didn't know I was dealing with something....**** maybe I should go see my doctor...what is the nonsense in terms of football....do you think we care they show her on TV.....really...?....I could give a rats *** about TS (not a fan at all) and am probably the biggest KC fan here on the board (apologies @ChiefD).....and how does that somehow make you feel better..... about losing to us all the time and "worth it"....what does worth it mean to you ..this should be good...I'll hang up and listen...

Chargers fans have to feel good about this outcome. One step closer to ousting Staley. Making the playoffs last year was the worst thing that could have happened to that team.

Do you get paid by the ellipsis?

He's just looking for the silver lining. It's not to be taken that seriously.

I think you're being Mean. We know All Too Well that your team is Fearless and Denver is a Blank Space in the standings. But you're not Out of the Woods yet. Karma could eventually prevent you from being The 1.

I don't know, but you seem to be having a hard time dealing with... something. Deep breaths, man.

Sad but true. It was always a bit treacherous for the Chiefs to visit Denver, but everything has changed and the Chiefs have the electric touch, while the Broncos castle has totally crumbled.

They really haven't recovered from that 2nd half collapse in last year's playoffs. Staley should have been fired right there. Problem is, the real issue is the ownership, and they're not going anywhere - they'll make another bad decision on coaching staff after they get rid of this regime. Herbert should never have signed that extension, his career will die with the Chargers.

I've been thinking about Herbert. Why hasn't he been more successful the past 2 years after showing such promise early on? He has one of the best arms in the game. Very few people can zip a throw to a spot downfield, including out patterns. Personally I think he throws a really flat ball most of the time and needs more touch/loft on certain throws. Every pitch can't be a fastball, nor does it need to be.

The Chargers have invested in their line. They should be physically dominating and they are not. Also, their identity keeps flipping. Last year they couldn't stop the run but were tough to throw against. This year the complete opposite. Their only identity is they can't close games. Doesn't speak well of Staley
