Chiefs not resting their starters? (1 Viewer)

Haley can be such a fantasy buzz kill. He's gone on record saying his starters are playing. Cassel is just a couple weeks removed from an appendectomy, Charles has been gimpy as of late, and this game is meaningless. Why on Earth would Haley go all out? Because it's a division rival? I don't think so. Charles, Bowe and Cassel have been steadily dropping in FBG's rankings with every update so apparently there is some concern about this. Thoughts?

Partially agree with you.

However, getting the 3 seed with a win would mean they play the Jets rather than the Ravens next week, and with a win, they travel to PIT, not NE (this assumes, Indy/PIT win today)....thats the path I'd sure rather take, rather than playing the Ravens and then having the possibility of traveling to NE.

Not a single regular is active, and there is a LOT to play for, as noted above. The Jets and Steelers is a MUCH easier slate to the AFCCG than Ravens/Pats.

As a Chiefs fan, I don't want to see Charles anywhere near the field. But apparently Haley put some money down on Charles and wants him to get the rushing title -- so we're gonna see some of him.

And Brodie Croyle is inactive (NOT the 3rd QB) so its Cassel and Tyler Palko. No clue whats gonna happen today.

Haley is bizarre. Adamantly kept Charles fresh all year, and now gonna play him in week 17? I'm guessing they just put the pedal down and try to get out to a huge lead early.

Hmmmm...call me chicken...but in $800 championship today I sit Charles and will start Michael Bush and Ivory.

Hmm, Cassel with 17 pass attempts in the first half and Jones and Charles with all the carries. So far it seems like they ain't lying.
