It's official: Tyson Jackson is a Chief.

The team just put out a release announcing the deal. ESPN's John Clayton reports the deal is worth five years and $57 million. Clayton reports Jackson will receive $31 million in guaranteed money.

Jackson was the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. The defensive end from LSU is expected to be an instant starter in Kansas City.

There is one remaining unsigned first-round pick in the AFC West: Denver running back Knowshon Moreno. The Broncos and Moreno are making progress toward finalizing a deal.

I watched alot of Tyson Jackson in the SEC, and while he's good....I still can't believe he was picked third overall..

if there was one guy that never should have held out, thanked his lucky stars he was taken where he was, and signed right away, it was him.
