Choosing starters? (1 Viewer)

I'm curious how other people feel about starting half or over half their lineup from 1 or 2 teams. I have a 13 man roster, start 8 (1QB,2RB,3WO/TE,1K,1D) and based on injuries, match-ups and small rosters - 5 of my 8 starters are from 2 teams (Romo, Murray, BGE, Robinson, Gronk). In the past, I have stayed away from this so I don't get burned if the games are low scoring. Do other people take this into consideration when setting lineups?

I have to admit, I have done this in the past (which really isn't logical unless you are trying to increase your chances of winning one league, versus winning them all), but I have noticed that when I do it (i.e. I own Kevin Smith in all 3 of my leagues), I have found that I go with my gut (or who I believe the best start is) in the leagues I am in contention in, and diversify in the league I am not doing well in. No clue why, just kind of noticed it when I did not start Smith on Thanksgiving in my one league where I am out of it.

I don't really worry about too many players on one team, I just start who I feel will have the best production.
agree. I guess there IS a real risk from putting all the eggs in one basket (especially if the weather is a factor), but overall it usually makes more sense to start the guys you expect to produce more, even if it means something silly like your QB throwing to 2 of your WRs..After all, if they got you to the dance, you might as well dance with them.
