Not a lot of recent talk about the fragile Chris Brown. His value must be at an all time low as he was dropped in a dynasty type league of mine. I could add him very cheap and the biggest deal is somewhat limited roster space. Ther has been a lot of talk about guys like Betts, Duckett, Turner, etc. and their chances of getting a starting job next season but what about Chris Brown? What sort of future value do the sharks see here?

Seeing as he is consistently inactive, and #3 on the depth chart at the moment; seems like he has fallen into the void left by Billy Volek...talented but in the doghouse. Hopefully he can take this time off, get healthy and actively pursue a trade in the offseason. This year his value is next to nothing, but in a dynasty league he may have some in the future. Its a wait and hope situation....I am keeping him on my Dynasty roster just in case....but he was dropped in my re-draft league too, so i guess it's a personal decision.

I'm holding onto him in my keeper league. Maybe he will land somewhere in the offseason that will put him in a position to be the starter again. If that is the case, I will be able to retain him cheaply, so I'm not going to drp him just yet. In redraft, he is absolutely worthless.

Actually, Brown is a UFA in the offseason. I would think he'll land somewhere, and given the barren wasteland that is the Dynasty RB FA Pool, it can't hurt to hold onto him just a little while longer.Unless that is, you are pressed for roster space. In that event, cut him and hope to redraft him next year when (if?) he lands a good gig.

He wanted to get traded to Miami and back up Brown. Kinda like Bell backing up Bell. He could still sign there next year if they dont bring Ricky back. What is it about RBs wanting to play for Miami? Maybe he'll settle for Tampa as Pittman is up there in age.

Warm weather, makes it easier on them during practices and games to keep loose. And maybe all the hot chicks in South Beach. Honestly, if someone said you can go to Miami or Minnesota.....which would you pick? :D

This doesn't bode well for his value. Given that he's only 25 and in his 4th year, you'd think he would still have the drive to be "the man" somewhere. If he's already resigned himself to getting a backup role somewhere, it's a bad thing.

Would you like fries with that? :toilet: Hey Chris, did you wash your hands before going back to work?

I've been a big Chris Brown supporter over the years, but I couldn't resist.

I think you hit on a good point. There doesn't seem to be much of an UFA pool, so that could benefit him as probably the best of the bunch. Not every team looking to find either a starter or RBBC member will probably be able to do so via the rookie draft.
