KC will only have to pay his salary per his contract. SD will take the cap hit for any bonus amount remaining.

Chris Chambers should not even be in the news....apart from one year, the guy is flat out useless. He drops more passes than anyone I have ever seen in the NFL. I would pick up Keenan Burton or Danny Amendola off the WW right now before Chris Chambers....especially when he is on the Chiefs.

Rod Gardner down?BTW, quite ironic they were in the same draft class...along with Terrell, K-Robinson, Q-Morgan...I think it is safe to say this class is jinxed.

Interestingly (at least statistically), he is the 3rd best WR of the class behind Steve Smith and OchoCinco...he has more yards and TDs than Housh (and I am sure more drops too...lol).

To be fair, while he dropped a lot of balls in Miami, he hardly dropped any in San Diego until this season. In 2007 (post-trade) and 2008, he was surprisingly sure-handed.

To be fair, while he dropped a lot of balls in Miami, he hardly dropped any in San Diego until this season. In 2007 (post-trade) and 2008, he was surprisingly sure-handed.

Hands are only one small part of catch%. A lot of it is concentration, running the right routes, making an effort on poorly through balls, etc. If a WR had 10 uncatchable balls thrown at him and he just gave up on all of them, he wouldn't have any drops. If another WR had 10 uncatchable balls thrown at him, and through sheer effort and hustle he tracked them all down but only managed to secure 1 of them, that WR might have 4 or 5 drops... but he'd also have a better catch% and be a better WR.Chambers' catch% so far this year was 29%. Luckily, I think we're all past suggesting that it's a result of how terrible Philip Rivers is. Edit: he did manage a 52% catch rate last year, which for Chris Chambers is pretty much a career year.
