Chris Johnson week 2 vs. the Bengals (1 Viewer)

Who has tough choices to make regarding CJ3?

Who are you benching him for?

Who are you starting him instead of?

I'm still trying to decide between between two of CJ, Edge and Thomas Jones... I'll probably play CJ and Thomas Jones.

I got Portis and Bush in my lineup as of now, I'm really tempted to bench Bush to put Johnson in there. I'm torn because I expect Bush to have a good game at Washington, but Johnson at Cincy is a tempting matchup.

I think you gotta find a way to get him in there against Cincy. I'd go with Portis and Johnson.

Now that Brady is no longer on my roster, CJ is now officially in every week at the flex spot. He would have had a tough time cracking the starting lineup with Lynch and Turner unless he clearly outplayed them which may not happen. If only I had two solid choices to replace Colston and Burelson. :goodposting:

Over T Jones , Going with Graham and CJ

Over Turner Going with Forte and CJ

and still not sure who to bench LJ,Sjax,Grant ..one of them need to come out so CJ can play

yes i got him in all 3 leagues

Over Ricky, S Morris, Norwood & MoMo @ RB2 - easiest decision this week besides Cutler.

Don't know how you'd bench LBJ for about any other RB2 right now (not over guys like Grant, Portis, etc.)

Would love to play him, but he's sitting with Forte on my bench behind starters AD and MBIII at the moment. I wonder if Barbers ribs are concern enough sit him though and roll with CJ.

League 1: CJ3 over JLewis, CPerry, FJones

League 2: CJ3 over JStewart, CPerry, RRice

Nothing too surprising except perhaps Lewis.

I was all set to start him over McGahee, but just sent McGahee packing and now have Brandon Jacobs to go along with AD. So it looks like I'll have to leave Johnson on my bench now.

I'm tempted to start Johnson over Lynch in a start-3 RB league where I'm lucky enough to have Barber, Lynch, Jacobs, and Johnson.

Start 2 RB...

Benching Marshawn

Starting All Day and Johnson

(Keeper league- I kept All-Day and Marshawn and took Johnsn in round 5)

Non-PPR league--

I am starting CJ and either Grant or J. Lewis. Right now I want to start Grant v Detroit, but the hamstring continues to make me nervous.

I kiss a picture of Chris Johnson every night before I go to sleep and then think about him realllly hard before falling asleep in hopes that I have dreams about him and what he's gonna do to the Bungles this week.

We still haven't thought of a good nickname for this guy.

I shall refer to him as Mr. Holdyourbreathwhentheballisinmyhandsbecauseicanripoffaseventyyardtouchdownrunata

nymoment. If that's too long, we can just call him Mr. Hybwtbiimhbicroasytraam.

Aside from that, the Bengals did give up 229 yards rushing last week to a bunch of guys not named Willis.

10 team keep-your-entire-40-man-roster dynasty league; start 3 RBs; scoring system in sig

Starting him with confidence over: Young/Hall/McGahee/Rice/White/K. Smith/Slaton/Fargas/Hightower

R. Bush (vs. Wash)

C. Johnson (vs. Cinn)

J. Jones (vs. SF)

Trying to talk myself out of benching Turner against the Bucs for Chris Johnson, to go along with Barber. Can anyone talk me out of it?

In a 20 team league, I'm starting CJ3 over Tomlinson, Westbrook, AP, and S. Jax.
We love your enthusiasm, but seriously, this isn't helpful. I am trying to decide whether or not play him over the likes of ROY, Jennings or Ocho and your posts are making it difficult to weed through CJ3 threads. :goodposting:

Probably starting CJ3 over Lewis and Ocho Cinco this week at the flex. For some reason I do not have confidence. Clearly CJ3 is going to be a stud, I am just not sure it is this week.

Okay, joking aside, PPR or not, I think you should start him over all of those guys. If not, you gotta go Jennings(I started Jennings and CJ3 last week). The catch though, assuming the Packers mop the floor with Detroit, you better hope for Jennings to do good things in the first half like last week, cause GB will come out running if they have a comfortable lead. Jennings caught 5 passes for 90 yards last week in the first half, and didn't do anything in the 2nd. CJ3 will get 15-20 touches, and he has yet to prove to me any reason to sit him. Not to mention, when they go to Game Break and it's Chris Johnson, you'll lose your #### and be bragging to all your leaguemates about starting him over those guys. He's playing Cinci, who, as I mentioned above, gave up 229 yards on the ground to Balt. And don't worry about Lendale, he's a non-factor. CJ3 was the starter last week because Fisher is smart and he knows he has a special player.

As far as people saying he can't run between the tackles, I ask them to simply prove it to me instead of just saying it. Even if it's the case, there's no defense in the league that he CAN'T get the corner on. He gets to the outside and turns the corner like no RB I have ever seen before.

What if Chris Johnson has played at OU or Arkansas, and AP and McFadden played at ECU? Who do you think would've been hyped more then? Just because pre-NFL Draft Boards didn't love him and have him high, doesn't mean he isn't better. The media sucks. The Titans knew EXACTLY what they were getting when they drafted him. A playmaker. He's the best RB and WR on the team. He had 1 game in the preseason where he dropped a few balls, but hasn't done it since. It was just rookie jitters. He made a hell of a grab on that TD last week.

That actually is a really tough decision.

But with the news that Griese is starting this week for the Bucs, I say you have to go Graham, as much as it hurts me to say that. The Bucs will look to pound the ball.

I want to start him over LJ but I don't know if I will. LJ rips the Raiders on a regular basis.
Anti-LJ fan here.He was a product of the system when they had the best O-Line in the league.Start Johnson. TEN defense will keep Johnson and the offense on the field.

I'm pairing CJ with ADP and leaving Graham and Maroney on the bench.
I'm in almost the same exact spot as you. I'm pairing CJ with ADP & benching Graham & McFadden..good luck with your 2 running backs this week... :(

League 1:

Probably starting him w/ FWP and LJ over Portis

League 2:

Still on the fence, it will either be him or SJax to go with Westy and ADP

(both Dynasty leagues)

starting him over MJD in a one league, and THINKING about starting him over Portis in another. Just not sure...
