I kiss a picture of Chris Johnson every night before I go to sleep and then think about him realllly hard before falling asleep in hopes that I have dreams about him and what he's gonna do to the Bungles this week.
We still haven't thought of a good nickname for this guy.
I shall refer to him as Mr. Holdyourbreathwhentheballisinmyhandsbecauseicanripoffaseventyyardtouchdownrunata
nymoment. If that's too long, we can just call him Mr. Hybwtbiimhbicroasytraam.
Aside from that, the Bengals did give up 229 yards rushing last week to a bunch of guys not named Willis.
In a 20 team league, I'm starting CJ3 over Tomlinson, Westbrook, AP, and S. Jax.
We love your enthusiasm, but seriously, this isn't helpful. I am trying to decide whether or not play him over the likes of ROY, Jennings or Ocho and your posts are making it difficult to weed through CJ3 threads.
Okay, joking aside, PPR or not, I think you should start him over all of those guys. If not, you gotta go Jennings(I started Jennings and CJ3 last week). The catch though, assuming the Packers mop the floor with Detroit, you better hope for Jennings to do good things in the first half like last week, cause GB will come out running if they have a comfortable lead. Jennings caught 5 passes for 90 yards last week in the first half, and didn't do anything in the 2nd. CJ3 will get 15-20 touches, and he has yet to prove to me any reason to sit him. Not to mention, when they go to Game Break and it's Chris Johnson, you'll lose your #### and be bragging to all your leaguemates about starting him over those guys. He's playing Cinci, who, as I mentioned above, gave up 229 yards on the ground to Balt. And don't worry about Lendale, he's a non-factor. CJ3 was the starter last week because Fisher is smart and he knows he has a special player.
As far as people saying he can't run between the tackles, I ask them to simply prove it to me instead of just saying it. Even if it's the case, there's no defense in the league that he CAN'T get the corner on. He gets to the outside and turns the corner like no RB I have ever seen before.
What if Chris Johnson has played at OU or Arkansas, and AP and McFadden played at ECU? Who do you think would've been hyped more then? Just because pre-NFL Draft Boards didn't love him and have him high, doesn't mean he isn't better. The media sucks. The Titans knew EXACTLY what they were getting when they drafted him. A playmaker. He's the best RB
and WR on the team. He had 1 game in the preseason where he dropped a few balls, but hasn't done it since. It was just rookie jitters. He made a hell of a grab on that TD last week.
