***Cincinnati at Kansas City*** (-7) 54.5u Burrow and Crew do the unthinkable...THEY WIN!!! (1 Viewer)

I think this may be one of the few times The Chiefs try to commit to running the ball more to try to take a possesion or two away from The Bengals. If they are succesful I can see leaning towards the under. If not it's gonna be "The shootout at Arrowhead". But for some reason I keep seeing/feeling a 34-24 final score,so.....

Cinn.- 24

 
watching Allen convert huge 3rd and 4th downs with his legs....and seeing how often CIN has settled for FG's (this may change) ....has me leaning KC here....yes Burrow can convert with his legs as well...but IMO not like Allen, and so far CIN doesn't seem to design running plays for Burrow like BUF does for Allen.....Burrow is usually converting them on the fly and because he was forced to run because of pressure...you HAVE to sustain drives against KC....I think that will be the key to this game and I'm just not sure CIN converts at the same clip at BUF....

this is also assuming KC does something they didn't do the last time these teams matched up....and that is make a freaking adjustment to try and limit Chase.....I am not expecting them to totally stop him, but have to limit him....I am a little worried about Higgins and Boyd when then does happen as well as Uz....but at least make somebody else beat you...

which then also leaves stopping Mixon....feels like the KC run defense has been pretty decent lately...so I may be underestimating Mixon's impact on the game a little and I hope this isn't one of those games where the running game starts gashing KC....I think the KC defense does ok...

it looks like the honey badger will be a go....and that is a huge bonus...34-24 KC

Bengals have lost a total of 3 games on the road by a total of 11 points...FG-FG and 5 points, now the Chiefs are going to blow them out? The Bengals have actual video footage of them running the Chiefs out of the building last time they met, i'm sure that footage was burned on the morning after by Andy Reid but it's possible that Coach Zach might still have a copy of that tape he can draw from. 

Maybe the Chiefs win but 7 is a nice spread. 

Chiefs 28...Bengals 27 snd I want to call for the upset here, feels like Burrow can do similar damage even if he doesn't run like Allen did. Chase and Higgins, Boyd and Mixon, don't forget about CJ Uz at Tight End he can produce when everyone else is covered up. I'll get cold feet by Sunday, i don't overlook Mahomes but 7 seems like a lot.

I may be getting old but I think the Bengals won by 3 on a last second field goal.

 
Have a feeling the Chiefs will know where Chase is this game and will be doubling him like they did Diggs last week. Higgins and Boyd will have to step up and make a lot of plays to keep up. Burrow is great but he is not Allen great. I see the Chiefs winning by more than a touchdown.

These two scare me as much as Chase. That Bengals offense is no joke.

Joe Burroe goes toe-to-toe with Mahoemes toeday.

3...run out of the building, it's all relative. Burrow had them on the run once the Bengals were in the hole by like 3 TDs in the 1st Half, the last 30-40 minutes of that Week 17 showdown was all Cinci 😉

 
I'll go with the upset here. Bengals 33, Chiefs 21. I just think they are the better team right now. This is the worst KC team of the Mahomes run(not an insult, as all 4 teams have gotten to at least the AFC title game) 

I think both teams have a lot more success on the ground than people expect them to. I also think KC goes all in to stop Chase, and this ends up being a big Tee Higgins game. Ultimately, I think Burrow shows why many believe he was the best player in the NFL in the 2nd half of this season.

Well, the bolded counts too! 

But I do see your point. Both teams had a period of domination during that game. And this game is going to be tough - I can definitely see a scenario where Burrow comes into Arrowhead and wins this game. He is legit.

I agree with this 100%.

And a large part of the problem in my opinion has been coaching. Spagnolo is just hell bent on playing Sorenson and Niemann at the same time. If you guys see this coming out of the gate the Bengals will win this game. No doubt in my mind.

I'd add Hitchens to that list too. Especially when it comes at the expense of Gay. 

Sorenson has to have some kind of dirt or something, he's annually one of the worst defenders in the NFL. 

ETA: I think whomever wins this game is my pick to win it all.

I believe this game will be close in the 2nd Half, I could also see a hard fought game 24-20 KC ahead and then a late Bengals turnover or misstep and suddenly Mahomes seals it late, 31-20 and the Chiefs cover. It's hard to keep moving ahead 4x in a row in the AFCC, I understand this would technically be the 3rd but I'd like to rewind the end of that KC-NE 1st time around and the Chiefs won the game and then a yellow flag mysteriously dropped...in all seriousness this should be the Chiefs going for a 4th straight trip, make no mistake my fellow gambling addicts, you are playing with fire betting against Mahomes or thinking he will get rolled at home today. 

Last week we had a Super Bowl level game, many feeling it was one of the 5-10 greatest football games of all times, some think the absolute greatest they've ever watched. The Chiefs could possibly feel slightly a letdown today but they're so battle tested at this point, I don't see how they could come out flat today.

My kids are having their first ever sleepover at a friend's house last night and this morning. Game time is noon my time I tell my buddy I'll come by at 11am to get them (40 min from now). He responds "your kids were awake at 630 I'm going back to sleep make it noon"

Hmmm so I don't have a DVR but what I do have is a can of whoop ###. 11am will be fine.

Why don’t they have the NFC and AFC championship games on separate days? One Saturday and one Sunday. 

 
Just want to say that I'm a big fan of the ladies on the NFL network, Cynthia Frelund, Kay Adams , and Collen Wolfe.  

 
Chiefs roll I think. Bengals will have big plays but KC does that thing where they score at will a couple times and it always feels like they have the game in hand.

Rooting for both teams. Love watching them both. 

 
AFC went through Brady for 20 years. Goes through Mahomes for the following 20

cincy had a great run but are out of their depth here, KC 38-24

Great job by the crowd on the anthem, terrible job by the singer 

 
Never failed to be shocked how much quicker Hill looks than anyone else. I don't think any player has every looked quicker than him in space, ever really. Maybe Devin Hester.

 
So, this past week we unanimously determined OT rules need to change. This next week I think we'll finally come to an agreement that the booth should just control all replays.
