Yeah, it’s strange you get forward progress if you get pushed back and hold onto the ball, but you lose forward progress if you get knocked back 2 yards, held up, and fumble.

538 has MIA 83% to make the playoffs as of now. That goes up to 91% with a win but drops to 67% with a loss. IIRC, if they win any two of their remaining games, they are in. Win only 1 game and as of now they would probably be in. Win either game against the AFCE teams and they are likely in. Lose all 3 games and they are out.
