Sort of. 10 years ago would have seen him playing and stuck him in the lineup. Now, we get one tidbit after another, like a last second bit about metal in his shoe to protect the toe and "he's going to TRY". Enough to lay a lot of doubt but in the end hardly decisive.Not like a direct quote from someone saying "he's cutting fine and running full speed. Looks 100%"

There is no better info. No one, not even the RB himself, knows exactly how the first series will play out. You just FELT better 10 years ago when it was either 'starting' or 'out'. Don't listen to every tidbit.

Umm....no. Hillman got a couple of snaps then in the obvious passing situations CJA was back on the field.

He's clearly the preferred pass protector at this point.

That's what I thought - which is why I was surprised he came out right after missing a blitz.

Anderson may get it going and return some value for the pick we spent, but that time is not now. Look at Lacy last year. Was awful out of the gate.

Starting him tonight was textbook dogmatic thinking. All the signs were there that he was wasn't going to produce tonight. Mostly health reasons imo.
