I'm assuming you mean the Bluestacks Notification center. The other app that showed as installed was the Bluestacks App player. I just uninstalled the Notification center, and it uninstalled everything.

FBG1 20 attacks for 38 stars.
Seattle 10 attacks for 16 stars.
This might be the best clan we've faced. So far they are attacking our low level guys so it remains to be seen what happens when their higher levels get involved.
They have Lev 6 wizards in their CC. You have to deal with them or they will shut down an attack.
They also seem more competent than most about dealing with our CC troops. We should probably not do a lot of experimenting on our first attacks or overreach. Take someone you are sure you can 3 star and then we can see how we look with 2nd attacks.

Are there any new strategies for war bases since they are seperate now? I separated mine yesterday and I found that I want my war base more spread out with my th and cc in the center. Pretty much th eopposite for my regular base. Condensed with my storages in the center.

TH & CC in the middle surrounded by every defensive weapon you have.
Storages, mines and drills should all be along the outside. Storage units have high hit points and should be used as speed bumps to slow down the enemy. Wars are about stars - resources don't really matter in clan wars.

We're only at the halfway mark, but at 123 - 46, we show once again we are in a different league than our competition.
Our very first war was the only one that was close.

lure the CC out and away from defensive buildings
once theyre far enough away drop barbs to act as meat shields and draw fire, then circle their wizards with your own- scatter them around so the splash doesn't kill them all at once
then proceed with 3 starring the base

As a general tip, when you are scouting click on the clan castle. You will see the circle that triggers the troops to spill out. Drop a barb within that range to lure them out. Make sure you've gotten them all out. Once they are all out, they will walk across the map to attack your troops. Ideally, there will be a lone builder hut in a corner you can draw them to. You want them away from defensive buildings. Fan your archers in an arc to mitigate the splash damage.

i think i found a way to run the latest version without ads, i did this last night and no ad so far but I'm pretty sure that ad is on a timer so i'll report back later tonight if it holds true after 24 hours. if you're familiar with android rooting, i rooted bluestacks and removed the amazon market apps which is what it come with, added the actual android market, and froze the bluestacks services. if you're not familiar with android rooting i'll post instructions tonight once i confirm this is really working. takes all of 5 minutes to set it up.Pigskin Fanatic said:

As in the cost of the upgrade? Or the balloon expense to get to 1.5mil elixir to do it? I only ask because I think this will be next on my list of upgrades, 2 dragoon bearing barracks will freaking rule!

Expensive in that I get bored and just build 6 dragons and a bunch of other crap and plow into bases for DE rather than do it with a more economical force. Previously 6 dragons would take 3 hours and logging in twice. Now it's 90 min. I probably sunk 1mil elix into dragons to chase 5k DE, but it was fun.

can i have a friend join our clan? he's like level 130 something with everything maxed, his clan is dying and he recently found out i been playing in this awesome clan. he's not a fbg, but is a big football fan and is one of those guys who can recite the high school and college teams for most nfl players.
Well, as long as you're not lying about him being able to name which high school various NFL players attended, I don't have a problem with it.

lol... it sometimes shocks me how much this guy remembers about football players. just threw that in there since this is, after all, a football community. I wanted to be sure everyone's okay with it, i'll throw him an invite in fbg2 when i get back over there after the war tonite unless i hear objections.

The premise was to go once a week for each clan because it used to be a pain to keep changing a war base and a normal base. The war base editor has solved that. Some guys want to win every war though and that takes a ton of help from our top guys. I can make Valks and by the time I went to, socal had taken care of it all. That is a huge drain on his DE and guys shouldnt be expected to carry that weight all the time. Because of that, we felt that once a week was sufficient (in each clan)
Some suggested we just use the war as a loot bonus for just picking on the honeypot. The competitive nature of fbgs shot that down

I know we've discussed it before and it would be a sacrifice for someone, but starting a smaller clan, say max 20-25, would be a lot more competitive if someone is looking for that. The 50 player clan just doesn't work for a competitive fight because there is just no one as organized or engaged with the majority of its clan as we are.
Imagine the war if are top 20 peeled off and went up against a similarly equipped, engaged clan? I guess you could always run into disengaged clans which seems to be the bane of clan wars but man, that would be a strategic slugfest. Would love to watch something like that.

Yeah I think it is worth revisiting. The majority of voices are for more frequent warring. There is really no downside, those that find it too burdensome are free to sit on the sidelines; the game does not change at all for them, we can still have the *serious* once a week war.
I didn't mind changing clans twice a week, but now even that is a problem, as you have people messing with that movement (rejecting requests for their entertainment). The clans are getting bigger and there will be folks left out.
If there is enough interest we could start yet another FBG clan for 3X week wars. Ideally would have ~20 to start. But I think it would be better if we just re-align the two existing clans in that fashion (once-weekly warriors in FBG1, thrice-weekly in FBG2 or vice versa).

I'm in a 20 person clan with guys from work, and even there, it's hard to find clans that even come close to us. We lost our first war, then haven't lost since. 25-30 wars? We pretty much war constantly and none have really been close.
