What was this all about?
Caught it, he wasn't on for much. Baseball myths--the effect of corking on a bat, whether sliding is faster that staying upright, humidity's effect on hit distance. Roger's bit was on the physics of curveballs and why there's no such thing as a "rising" fastball.
what were the conclusions?
:deadhorse: And did they talk about Roger's dome?

Sounds like there's no such thing as a "rising" fastball.

Corking the bat actually hurts power.Sliding is faster when you need to stop on the base. They didnt do first or home though.

Humid balls travel less distance

No pitcher could ever generate enough lift to make a fastball rise.

The cover does not fly off a baseball until its essentially a bullet. Though they didnt try that with an older ball, still seems highly unlikely given the speed differentials involved.

I think thats it.
