Anybody think Clemens name will show up anywhere?
That little retirement he went through was a little "Jordanesque"
I have always said that people jumped out and accused Bonds when he "all of a sudden" started hitting HRs.Why did people turn a blind eye to Clemens when he all of a sudden started dominating again?
Let's see:
2002 4.35 ERA 180 IP 172 H 40 years old
2003 3.91 ERA 211 IP 199 H 41
2004 2.98 ERA 214 IP 169 H 42
2005 1.87 ERA 211 IP 151 H 43
He starts dominating as a pitcher at the age of 42 but nobody blinks an eye? Are you F!n kidding me? ARE YOU ####### kidding me? Performance enhancing now comes as a surprise to baseball? Wasn't it Peter Gammons, before his stroke, that said a certain Astro, and ONE WHO WOULD CRIPPLE BASEBALL, tested positive for enhancing drugs? Funny that that name never came out because the Palmiero scandal had just taken place and the Bonds fiasco was just starting.
I'm not stupid. Bonds was on the juice. I know it and we all know it. Why is Clemens protected? Why didn't everybody scream bloody murder when Clemens started dominating at such an older age? There was no Clemens scandal going on was there? Oh that's right...he had that momentary "Jordanesque" retirement didn't he? Face it. This man was a juice head just as bad as Bonds was. Just as bad as McGwire was. Just as bad as Palmiero was.
Why wasn't Clemens dragged across the coals? Bonds has and is still being prosecuted. Why hasn't Clemens? Will he be attacked like Bonds was? I seriously doubt it. Is it racism? I'm just asking...
