Well...I wanted to discuss politics with intelligent people, many of whom disagree with me, so I came back.  But apparently I came back just in time for it to crash and burn.

I typically don't ignore people...but it seems an executive decision was made to not allow political discussions on here anymore.  We'll see if it stands, but for now it seems to be a nonstarter.
