Lurker
Hi Jene,
Wanted to pick your brain at my LB3 spot.
Keyed up to roll with JPete vs SF--he's been a great LB3 for me this year. Problem is I don't like this matchup. Last time vs SF he had just 2 solos, and I really don't see that changing this week, unless he can add an INT when Smith tries to force it to Vernon.
Urlacher and Quarles are LB1-2 right now.
My other options are:
Larry Foote (CAR), Clint Ingram (TEN), Ruud (i already have Quarles starting) (CHI), and Daryl Smith (TEN)
I'm leaning towards Smith, but he's certainly been boom-or-bust lately.
Standard Z scoring. Thanks.

, super fun.)
, super fun.)Mathias Kiwanuka vs Eagles....or PacMan Jones vs Jaguars.Any advice would be helpful, I am not totally comfortable starting Spencer, or Lynch, or Wesley for that matter.
If you need more info just let me know, I tried to give all I could think of.Thanks again.
Kiwanuka is an interesting play. He's a solid play, but the poor premium for sacks depresses his value significantly. I don't think his probable tackle stats make him a clear play over one of those DBs so if the cap issue is a major one, I'd pass.I'm done bashing Greenwood. It doesn't matter how poor a player he may be and who's lining up next to him. As bad as the Texans defense has been, any replacement level player is a threat for 8 tackles. The Merriman play is completely up to you. His value is entirely big play dependent and your scoring system doesn't value that at all. Still, it's hard to argue when the guy is averaging more than a sack per game. I think Hayes and Shanle are both safer plays, especially Hayes with his good tackle matchup vs the Broncos.I think I'd play Spencer over Lynch. I think the matchup difference is enough to take on the return from injury risk. If you decide to bring Kiwanuka up, Lynch is who I'd bench.

, so I don't know. Thanks Jene, very informative as always.
). He's always around the play, and teams seem to shy from running at him--but they will try reverses, due to his tendency to overpursue and having a rookie DE (Melvin Oliver) on the same side. There is nothing I've seen in the past few weeks that lead me to believe BMoore is a good play tonite. My belief that Seattle will control the ball for 35-40 mins with SA/Mo is why I think BMoore is a good play tonite--the opportunities will be there.
