If you guys really want to do a tourney you would have to limit it to the 8-10 people that you know would play. Do a round robbin setup with a championship and have fun. Anyone beyond the "regulars" makes it an issue with scheduling, but it could be done.

Anybody else running into the running knife guys?

Very frustrating.

I encountered quite a few of these guys yesterday after not seeing many prior to that. It's kind of annoying when you put 3-4 shots into a somebody and they still lunge-knife you as if they were immortal, but most of these guys seemed to be lone wolves who weren't trying to too hard to take objectives, so it was okay. Kind of cheap though.

Shock charges can be really useful if you are patrolling an area and need a way to watch your back. You will see the pulsating cross hair on your screen when it goes off, so you can tell when someone has set it off. Tag one in a strategic location behind you and you will always know when someone is coming behind you/has breached your "area".

They're also awesome next to a bouncing betty. I love tossing both out near a flag or near a hallway entrance behind me. It's awesome watching a guy get shocked and frozen and stand there paralyzed as the bouncing betty jumps up and goes off.

With my M27 class I use 2 Betty's and a smoke grenade. When I see a bunch of people coming on the UAV I've been tossing the smoke grenade and then tossing the Betty. I've serious had at least 5 double kills because of that.

If any of you see me on and want to teach me something hit me up. I have my ratio up to like .95 now so I have definately improved, but still have alot to learn.

Yeah... typical process is log on... check and see who is on... if there seems to be a party, jump in the chat and see if it's full... if there is no cohesive party then send out a bunch of invites if you feel like trying to set one up, or just go play by yourself. Also found another gem of a gun. Try the FAL. 2 shot kill from just about any distance on core games. Also from what I understand, when you get the option for the selector switch, you can change it to full auto!!!

Yeah, I was surprised yesterday when I heard they weren't planning on making Nuketown available for purchase in the future. So the writing was on the wall at that point. Even more ridiculous is that I know several people that have bought the game since release and they all came with the code for Nuketown. So basically the pre-order did nothing but guarantee you the game on release date.

You can also use that black hat PDA to destory helicopters, etc (anything electronic). You can hack into stuff through walls and you can also use it to retrieve care packages for teammates (not your own) if they are in unreachable areas (on top of buildings, outside the map, etc)

That's a pretty good point. I think my PS3 is magical though -- I platinumed Skyrim with only a few freezes (no more than I would get in any other game), and I've had no problems with BO2 so far.

Agreed on bouncing bettys. I am running two bouncing bettys on a couple classes. I think I get like 7 kills per game off them. Really good in hardpoint and TMD or ffa. That is helping the k/d.

I am not seeing the knifing issue you guys are talking about at all. I practically gave up knifing after I whiffed on my first 8 tries.

Along with learning to use a 2ndary when my primary is out in close quarters, I also need to learn to use equipment more effectively. I can probably count on hand the number of people I've killed after flashing, theyre more a shot in the dark across the map hoping for an assist bonus or to learn an enemy's location for me, which makes dexterity useless.

I was never buying any of the Skyrim DLC anyway. Dawnguard got medicore reviews, and the build-your-own-house one got trashed. But yeah, Bethesda basically sucks at developing games on this platform.

I thought it was quicker throws and faster climbing, must be mistaking. I really outta just break down and run with yall. I was in a clan before but didnt like not being able to get away when I wanted for food/bathroom/smoke. I rarely play more than like 3 games in a row even when on my own, short attention span :/Edit- not to mention I dont feel im good enough to be helpful to any clan and hate the feeling of being the weak link

Having fun whether winning or losing is probably the most important thing to me. Im a complete non-competitive, rather go a fun 2-12 than a stressed out 20-10.
