COD: Black Ops 3 (2 Viewers)

Will BLOPS2 have Kill Confirmed? I love KC so much, I'm really going to have to make a tough decision if it's not in the new game.
By far my favorite game mode. That and Domination are what I play 99% of the time. For all the complaining about MW3, the addition of KC was fantastic. From watching WingsofRedemption's youtube vids on the BLOPS2 MP and killstreak system, I think I'm really going to like it. Sounds like a great balance of rewarding kills with playing the objective. The guys that stick to the outer parts of the map with a sniper rifle or camping in a corner and go 12-1 aren't going to be able to amass many decent killstreaks.

Kill Confirmed is the best thing to ever happen to this series. I love to run, and KC rewards runners. With my style, I'd go 7-9 or 6-10 in HC TDM. But with KC, I go 20-15 or 25-15 and I almost always am atop the high point earners. And the best part? Teams that camp heavily almost always lose.

Will this have zombies? If so, will it have the past maps? I love zombies but am not a fan of the standard COD gameplay.

It will have regular zombies + a new multiplayer zombie game mode.

Who wants an RC Quadrator? Yours for only $179.99 with no COD Elite. If I had a boy I would buy it. As a grown man, I'll pass.

COD Elite was a ripoff anyway, glad to see it is not a part of the special editions.

Slight tangent, but anyone here play with their kids? My son, about to turn 11, has not yet been alowed to play any games in this genre. It seems he's the only one in his grade that doesn't already play these games. Not that I parent my kids based on what other parents are doing, but it seems he's maturing enough to the point to play these kids of games.

I do, yeah. My son is 13, and he's been playing COD for a couple of years. (I'm pretty permissive when it comes to this kind of stuff). We often sit around in the basement and alternate where he plays one match and I play then next one and vice versa. He's considerably better than I am at this game too. :bag:

My son is 12 and he's been playing it for about a year. I don't play with him but I do watch him when he does as we have the PS3 in our living room (to keep an eye on him and ear on his voice chats with the other players). I'm a PC gamer myself - can't stand console (except for Madden) but he is VERY good.I was initially hesitant to get it for him at first but I eventually let him because I felt he would be okay with it - and he is. If the other guys start swearing (and they always do) i have him mute them out or turn off the voice chat. At his age, he's already heard it all in school.

I've played with all four of my kids. We have a blast. My son and I can get to 50ish on zombies.

Excited about the new zombie stuff.

Agreed. Although it's done the opposite to my game results. I was much better at BLOPS, playing at a slower pace. The pace of KC is much more fun, but I'm just not very skilled. Throw me in running and gunning with halfway decent players and I'll go negative more often than not.

I can't go back to TDM though. It's miserable. I'm not sure I'd get BLOPS2 if it didn't have KC.

Co-op campaign mode? That's really the only reason I'd break down. I love doing co-op on these types of games.I remember this old game from a long time ago, it was called Mission:Baghdad or something. Four player co-op, each person had a specialty (heavy gunner, demolitions (also medic), infantryman, sniper). You played four player spilt screen and each mission was set up to have to work together. Played with three friends and it was a blast. I much prefer that to the online match system that is so popular.

We've played co-op on a few games, but I just really can't get used to split-screen.

I can see that. I've played plenty of Halo games where we have 15 guys in a basement, with four guys sharing one screen so I'm used to it.It can't be worse than the 8 hours I wasted this weekend playing minecraft with both of my boys all sharing a screen.

This will be the first COD game I get at launch. I'll be in and hope to get in some games with the FBGs, though I don't play games as much as I used to so I'll just be fodder running around out there.

I am trying to find it, but I want to know how they are dealing with the 10 point system and dropped weapons that allow you to have 12 points while alive.

From another forum:

"Apparently if you don't have a secondary you won't be able to carry two guns at all (as your secondary will be the knife which you can't switch out) so you'll only be able to switch out your primary. Similarly if you don't have any guns (running knife with lot of perks) you won't be able to pick up a gun at all.

I think the best bet will be to run a stinger, it will get you easy points shooting down UAVS etc and let you pick up another weapon once the stinger's ammo is depleted."

So carry a stinger or a secondary if you want to pick up weapons.

Had an itch to play Blops last night. So much better than MW3. Don't know what it is, but I can actually play Blops, go positive, and enjoy myself.

Need to get a little more playtime in before Blops 2 comes out.

Haven't played forever but some coaches brought in an xbox and were playing MW3 and invited me to play. Had never played that game and zero map knowledge but surprisingly held my own. Kinda gave me the itch.
