Cole Hamels (1 Viewer)

Alright, I'm in first place in one league....and Hamels was released about 2 weeks ago. Today I read that he may return next week, so I took a flier on him (really more of a block on someone else getting him).

Problem is, I have to drop someone in order to keep him. I have until Sunday to decide.....does anyone here think Hamels will contribute his last three possible starts? Or should I just hold and release him Sunday night so no one else can get him until the last week of the season?

:wall:

Feel free to post your favorite recipes here too :sadbanana:

not sounding so good for Hamels... but who knows? there's gotta be someone you can drop that you wouldn't use in the 3 weeks anyway.. just in case.

link?Last I read was:

News: Phillies ace Cole Hamels felt fine after a bullpen session Wednesday and hopes to start Tuesday at St. Louis. The All-Star lefty has been out since Aug. 22 with an elbow strain.

fwiw, it's a 10 team cbs sportsline league, so obviously very shallow. My drop would be either JD Drew, John Maine....or one of my stud relievers (Putz, Saito, Valverde), as I have an insurmountable lead in saves. I can possibly gain 2-3 points in wins (or lose 1)....and gain 1 point in K's (or lose one).
