College QB DJ Uiagalelei, FSU (1 Viewer)

DJ's big and can move, however he's not elusive so if there's a shadow on the defense they'll have success stopping his rushes. He also struggles badly under pressure.

Yeah I’ve been very unimpressed with him. I can’t believe people are hyping him up, he’s looked terrible much of the year.
It's actually hard to imagine a program like Clemson couldn't do better.

Shipley is the best weapon that offense has and I think the fact that he's recovered and playing healthy is the real key to their offensive success aside from a very good O Line. DJ has benefitted from that and so gets hype because he's the QB.

I thought Cade Klubnik was going to supplant him this year but he clearly needs more development. I don’t watch a ton of NCAA but have been reading a little about the 2023 QB class as the Lions might draft a new QB. DJ is not considered a top ten prospect, this is a deep class.

If Goff keeps balling out then can forego that idea and just focus on getting more defensive talent. $30.6M and $31.6M for 2023-24 which is middle of the pack. For where the market is at rn for starting QBs that is tolerable.
