College WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona (1 Viewer)

I started off absolutely loving this guy, and maybe I still do. The NFL stock exchange pod pointed out how atrocious his separation numbers are. That's very very very concerning. They glossed over it a little, but look at high profile bust WR over the past few years. QJ, Treylon, Harry. You can even add some guys that we want to be difference makers, but pretty clearly aren't (but are fine fantasy WR) like Drake London. None were good at getting separation. They could out muscle/out jump/out athlete dudes that will go pro in something other than sports, and then they were YAC monsters. That doesn't always translate to big and strong and fast and freak athlete and on every PED you can think of NFL defenses.

Odunze had a similar, but not the same, knock on him last year. He was the opposite. Bad at contested catches. Then he became elite at that. I'll bet you that Tet ends up on my dynasty team, but I'm well and truly freaked out about it. Love the dude. Love the highlights. Love that he stuck it out with his high school buddies at AZ. Would LOVE if he showed some separation this year.

Edit: just saw he was compared to London earlier in the thread in a linked article. Didn’t do that intentionally. I see that as a big negative, not a positive.

Nice post. Personally I would draft one of the top RBs at 1.02 in a dynasty league. I expect Burden will go 1.01 as of today, but that could change.

Burden is still my WR1, but RBs may dominate the early half of Round 1 in fantasy drafts next season. Many things can (and will) change in the course of a season, but that appears where we are headed right now.

I have my 1 round devy draft next month and I have the 1.1 and 1.2 picks. He's on my list mainly because of rbs and committees.

6 receptions
208 yards
3 TDs

With 2:00 to go.

IN THE FIRST HALF.

Haven’t ever watched much Arizona ball, but they are now in the big 12 so here I am watching this great player. Just got targeted in the endzone again for a near long one. Should be a fun second half.

Wow. I’m sad, no shares in my DEVY leagues.

Jeepers. Another sick toe tapping catch.

Watching him. He’s got size and speed and hands.

His 3rd touchdown was an easy little slant and he just turned on the burners and made mere mortals out of three defenders.

40 yard TD

7 catches, 248 yards, 4 TDs.

The previous catch I mentioned was reversed for not controlling the ball all the way to the ground. Still a stellar looking athletic to-tapping “catch” reversed.

Highlights of an insane night

Looked like Kyler Murray throwing to Mike Evans out there. Arizona's 5'10 QB, Noah Fafita, can sling it. He's a fun college QB.

But T-Mac looks like the truth.

Caught his last pass with 13:30 left in the game. 303 yards, a career high.
Well, obviously his career high, right?? 303 Yards!!
303 yards only beats his previous game high by 37 yards (266).

Never draft out of need in either DEVY or Dynasty. Trade for need.
Great in theory, but not always in reality. Some leagues just dont trade much. I havent gotten a trade offer in about 3 years! I make more offers and trades than the rest of the league combined and it is still hard to make a trade.

Dane Brugler
Tetairoa McMillan is long and rangy, but is also more spry and agile than most his size. He's so good snatching the ball away from his body.

T-Mac started the year WR1 for me and last night (10/304/4) showed why.

He was really impressive! My only critique is that it was the Lobos. A CB fell down on the 79-yard TD. As a unit, they looked pathetic. Looking forward to seeing McMillan versus a more competitive defense.

Christian Williams
That Tetairoa McMillan clip going around is so much better with the all-22.

He settles in the first window before the instincts and QB chemistry take over. Really impressive stuff from Noah Fifita here, too.

True. Rule 1 is know your league. In my devy league there isn’t much trading and I because of it I lean wr. Also, maybe send more offers out. I just traded Edbuka for a 2026 first.

My devy league is like this. Nearly impossible to trade for a top 15 WR. I just traded Egbuka for a 2026 devy 1st. Most rankings still have Egbuka rated high and I’m not a believer.

Shut down by NAU with 2 catches for 11 yards.

Didn’t get to watch the game as I was at the TCU game. But my new shiny receiver prospect may not be as shiny as we thought.
